Removing contaminants

I washed my car, then did the baggy test on the finish and felt the grit, so I used the Nanoskin clay pad, did the baggy test again and the grit was still there. I then used a clay bar and retested with the baggy and the grit was still there. What else can I do to get rid of the contaminants on my car?

Do a Valugard decon wash.

Are you using the Nanoskin fine or medium grade clay pad?
Are you using it via machine or hand?
What are you using for lube?
Are you washing it after the call process?
