Just got my black Harley Trike all shined up with, new to me, Griots Garage product. When I start riding again in the spring, what is the best way to remove road dust and grime without screwing up how great it now looks?

How about bugs and bug splat? I have been using a 50/50 mix of hydrogen peroxide and water.

As a general rule I was dusting the bike off at the end of the day carefully. I still got faint scratching. I can't stand a dusty black bike.

I would wash it much like a car using products and wash mitts specifically developed for automotive use.

Use soft brushes like the Daytona series for those hard to reach areas then rinse. To ensure minimal water spotting I like to dry everything using Metro's Metro Blaster SideKick.

I would put Ultima Waterless Wash Plus in a fine mist bottle and do a waterless wash, which imo is a safer method of cleaning than a QD.
