Removing Light Swirl Marks on GelCoat

Hi new to the site and have been reading the forums for a while and learned a ton great site.

I have a 2016 Supra Wakeboard boat which is always kept in my garage and is starting to get small swirl marks from people boarding from the rear deck. They are pretty light, but annoying and my OCD gets the best of me especially having a all Black and Red Boat. I have been using my Porter 7424 and using the Mequiar's Premium Cleaner and Wax with the Orange or Black Pad. It seems to work pretty good overall, but looking step it up and try and get some of the swirl marks and use a sealer to keep it looking like glass.

What would you recommend to get rid of those small scratches seen below in the pictures ?
I just ordered the the following yesterday from Auto Geek

• Menzera 2500
• Menzera 3500
• Jescar Power Lock

Do you think using the 2500 will get those out or would i need to go with a lower grit?

Sounds to me like you need to get new friends that won't scratch your boat up! LOL

I am not sure how the Menzerna product line will work with gelcoats, as I have no experience with using them on boats. My recommendation is to try a small test spot, and go from there. Great looking tug, but man, that's a LOT of black! How hot is that sucker in the sun? I will tell you though, Supra has come a long way from the old TS6m, and that was a pretty bad ass boat!

I think the Menzerna 2500 will handle these swirls no problem.

Use your foam cutting pad and run that polisher on speed 6 and apply about 15 pounds of downward pressure but maintain pad rotation.
