Hi,

Some months ago I had my door for repainting since it was damaged and had a very deep scraches.
The bodoy shop did a great job regarding to color matching, but they didn't take care of the plastis of the mirror side. It is all stain with old polish...
How can I clean those plastics? A good APC? I use Duragloss Rubber & Flat Black Dressing (RBD) #271 for exterior plastics and rubber conditioning...

Any help?

Thanks!

I typically use diluted IPA and a "scrub" with a microfiber towel to remove old polish or wax residue from trim.

trim dressing and a terry towle or a brush if needed.
the TD oils will get into the plastic and help lift and clean out the crud.

I've used leather conditioner with good and fast results. i was using the apc method with a toothbrush like brush and it took a good little bit to remove all of it but ill hit the area with some leather conditioner on a microfiber then wipe it off with a apc and its gone.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago on my car, i had left some dried polish on a plastic trim and the rubber around the windshield, i used duragloss WE (wax eraser) and it cleaned all the residues without breaking a sweat

Thanks for teh feedback!!
I'll try with eraser or WD40!!
