What product are you comparing it to? Aquapel, Stoner's something ( I think they have a rain repellant?)
M105 or even M205 should do the trick!clay bar didnt work for me
I ended up M105'd it by hand
Just drive with your wipers on during a rainy afternoon. Seems to work for meI can't get rain-x to last.
-I'd love to see your comparison, I like Duragloss stuff and was considering their rain repellent.
I always get at least 30 days out of Rain X. I've been using it for over 25 years. I apply with firm overlapping circular motion clockwise with two finger pressure and counterclockwise until the glass feels super slick under my fingers and the window stops squeaking as I rub it on with the terry cloth towel. I then wait 15-20 minutes and go over it again to make sure I haven't missed any spots. Then I wait until it has completely dried and then wipe off with wet towel and then buff off with dry towel. I don't even need wipers above 40 mph with Rain X.Just drive with your wipers on during a rainy afternoon. Seems to work for meI can't get rain-x to last.

Call me crazy if you'd like
so, to re-iterate:
i have tried a few suggestions so far, but no luck to this point. still getting the line in the windshield, where the wipers stop before making their return stroke downward. both the driver's side and passenger side wipers are doing this.

barkeeper's friend
bon ami
glass polish
pre-treatment cleaner from PPG (makers of aquapel; guaranteed to strip off aquapel)
acetone
pure 91% isopropyl alcohol
cerium oxide
isopropyl alcohol / cap of optimum degreaser / distilled water mixture
clay bar
prior to the hockey game tonight (LET'S GO PENS!!!), i will try and scramble around to see what works. i will keep everyone here posted.
to date, nothing has been able to take it off so far, and it has been raining on and off for days, not to mention cool weather.... hence, no reply to this sooner.
