Soooo.... I had a customer call me to ask about removing swirls from his wheels. He went tru the automatic car wash and that apperantly caused swirls on the polished lip. He called the wheel company and they said the lip of the wheels are stainless steel. It looks to be a highly polished stainless.

I've tried looking for any related topics with no luck. So if anyone has any experience removing swirls from wheels please let me know. Thanks!

I use a drill along with a 3" pad set.
Never worked with a stainless wheel though.
IMO with using the drill and small pads it's easier than by using a large buffer and surly by hand.
I can control the pad on the lip very easy, the drill gives me great control.
It's the stainless steel lip that would give me a difficult time in trying to remove the swirls.

Yeah my bet was going to be the 3" GG polisher or 3" drill adapter with maybe M205. Maybe M105 if the other won't work, followed by a good wheel polish.
