You've already helped diagnose the condition of my trunk lid (photos at: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...-how-do-i-know-if-i-need-compound-polish.html #8). I have a series of water marks on this single stage paint, obviously quite thin. I'm hesitant to use the Optimum Compound II with an orange or cyan pad with the 7424XP for fear of removing too much paint. Any ideas about alternatives?
