I continue to have trouble cleaning the edges of the cleartastic or clear film the factory installs behind the wheel openings to protect the paint. I've tried about everything I can think of but nothing gets the job done....I see it mostly on my black Canyon. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have this on the xterra, but it never posed a issue. I would try a APC with a mf towel.

Run your finger nail along the edge or a toothpick..

Thanks....tried the fingernail but didn't try the toothpick....I'll give that a try.

Careful. That has the potential to scratch the paint pretty deep. Not an issue when the film is on, but if it's ever removed, you are likely to find a nice deep scratch. This is more of a concern with PPF on places like the hood or bumper

I used to use the Griot's wax remover. Since it came out, I have been using the Wolfgang Uber coating prep solution. It is fantastic!

Thanks Guys....I've been using McKee's 37 products recently.....I will order their new product Wax Remover.

Use someone's business card inside a microfiber towel and go slow.
