We welcome any and all testing.

Mmk so take this with a grain of salt. So we have said test subject. 17 suburban gloss black. Washed last Saturday and iron decon. Dried and had Merlin elixir used as drying aid. Don’t mind the water spots it’s getting corrected. But it’s covered in pollen and dust at the moment.
View attachment 66855
Then we have said Beadmaker and for sh!ts and giggles I got out my temp gun. Paint is 150* View attachment 66856View attachment 66857
Here are the towels I’m using. No clue on weight...guess 350ish. Higher pile on one side shorter in the other you get the picture. I have 2 for this test and no I didn’t clean the whole car I could care less at the moment. View attachment 66858
Here we have product applied. Not sure if I was supposed to use a lot or a little so I went heavy. I got plenty of vehicle to retest and we aren’t worried about scratches at this house so fear not good villagersView attachment 66859
Here is the towel after 2 wipes down the hood flipping sides as I did. Left product on there.m and had to buff with 2nd towel.View attachment 66860
Here are the results after buffing. I did have streaking but it’s 150* on the paint. Tried buffing multiple times but I couldn’t get it to not streak.

And finally a shot of paint temp when finished. Could it be used as a QD? Probably but ymmv and do at your own risk and don’t come cry and ask why. We know this product is just a quick lsp that’s crazy cheap. Take it for what it is and move on. Don’t get hung up on the name. I mean look at Dodge Ram. That right there is an oxy moron statement and they seem to do ok so I think Beadmaker will probably hang around.

***Disclaimer it could be that the car has 303 spray on rinse off sealant as base and then topped with elixir 5 days ago so get yer grains of salt to take this with.

***These are my opinions and observations at 5300ft elevation, 80* and very very low humidity.

So it’s more of a horrible cleaner than it is a swirl inducer? Is that what you got out of it?

Minerigger wins the I Don't Give a *** award! Love it.

Pretty much. This is definitely a lsp not a qd. If you want to use it as a qd go for it but that’s your paint and your nightmare visions to sleep with.

I suppose you could induce swirls/scratches and marring but I think if you used an adequate amount and, quality microfiber towels and no pressure and just use your head and common sense then you’ll be fine.

And yes I don’t give a dayum. I do but I mean I’m not gonna lose sleep over it. It’s a black car in a windy sandy environment in the northern part of the country. The paint is gonna get beat up and it’s not gonna be a show car. It’s moms and she just like it clean and pretty. She can’t tell at 5ft or 25ft. It’s just black and shines.

Oilfield also does not help ones mentality towards material things. There is always more money to be made and more crap to buy when you don’t like what you have anymore so no point in stressing like crazy over it all. You get one life, live it up and enjoy it.

i thought we were going to do a side by side with a quick detailer. what did this test do for our discussion? why does this thread have me so confused?

Oh ffs. What qd you wanna do? I dunno what I have but I can do it tomorrow possibly. Car is still crummy but has a clean side on the hood . Actually don’t know if I own any QD just because I stay up on my lsp so I usually do a waterless if I need a QD

So, I'm aware of the hype, but haven't done a deep dive into informative threads concerning Beadmaker. I just know it's a buzz-product right now so I ordered some. I haven't even read through this thread. But I'll give my first impressions...

This went on a vehicle that had Blackfire SiO2 Spray Sealant applied 6 weeks ago. I washed it, clayed it with an eagle 1 synthetic clay mitt, and then applied the Beadmaker. I felt like it required more product to be applied than when using Megs Ultimate Spray Wax or DG Aquawax. It just felt more comfortable with a greater amount a product on the surface.

That said, it was easy to apply and remove and felt veeeery slick when I was done. Even more-so 12 hours later. It almost felt like I wiped down the truck with silicone spray. Awesome gloss. Satisfied.

But after two days, I drove through rain for about 2 hours. And the crazy thing was the wind from driving on the highway just wouldn't blow the water off the paint. It was like it stuck to the paint. And the beading wasn't good at all. It was also extremely difficult to wipe off bugs from the front of the truck the next day.

Final thoughts: when I want a super glossy vehicle, it's a good choice. But I probably won't buy it again. I'd choose DG AW or Megs Ultimate because it's easier to wipe off bugs and it beads better (water shedding).

I'm not here to argue. Just sharing my initial thoughts.

The beading/water behavior is horrific, no doubt. In non-rainy climates this significant disadvantage becomes less of an issue, but it’s hard to ignore in the Northeast.

In short-- I would have named it GlossMaker. The gloss and slickness leaves NOTHING to be desired. If those are your goals- this is the product for you. If you're desiring sheeting/beading, I'd look elsewhere, based on my cursory experience.

I think as Eldo2k mentioned when he used it every 4-7 days for 2 months that most of these attributes got better. No doubt it’s not a long lasting durable product but I would assume it would build on itself. But it’s ok to not like as there are a boatload of products out there. So as mike says, find what you like and use it often.

Exactly. I did the initial heavy coat of BM on our polar white MB and after every wash I use it as a drying aid and it always has a great shine. On the wife's escape which is a daily driver I have DPC armor and I use Scotts mixture of products for a detail spray which work great on her car.
Like stated, find what you like and enjoy it :)

That.

I was about to give up on BeadMaker after a couple of uses and declare it an average product, but the more I used it the better the results got and it really does feel like this product builds on top of itself.

I’ve been slacking off lately and have resorted to having to do bucket washes every 7-10 days, but at no time has the beading appeared to begin to look weak. Slick as hell too.

@Minerigger. Thanks for doing that test you did on that black hood. Much appreciated.

What? Has someone hacked your account?lol.

As far as Beadmaker, IMO it’s not something that’s going to wow you after 1 use. [which is why some youtube reviews of it make certain people look like complete shills]

For example, the initial beading isn’t something I’d call really impressive, but after continued use there’s no doubt this product builds up a stronger layer which results in above average beading and slickness that’s pretty damn remarkable.

My paint has never been slicker. Those people who say the slickness doesn’t last must be using this once per month and that’s their own fault.

I totally agree with your review. After you use it a few times, it is VERY slick! I use it as a drying aid on my new Charger Scat Pack and the gloss after a few coats is incredible. For a QD I use Kenotek but even before using that the paint is still very slick.

And it is the only LSP I am using on the rear two thirds of my car. I am using Reload over Essence on the front end, with Elixir as my QD (all great products BTW).
