Repainted hood quality compared to oem?

One place I would never haggle is a body shop.

They are just going to want to cut corners if you do.

A lot of body shops here cut corners anyway. Oddly enough the only places I trust are dealerships here only because the work is guaranteed against workmanship issues for the life of the car. Plus it's a faster turn around. I had a rear bumper replacement that was done in three days, two days of work and one day to let the paint cure enough for me to drive off.
