Repainting - paint cure - how long?

My brother just had his 2000 Maxima repainted after an accident. How long does it taked paint to cure before it can be waxed? I know that carnaubas are breathable, so maybe a few weeks? What about a sealant?

I'd give it at least a month to cure.....

a sealant 3 months.........

I wait at least 3 months before any wax or sealant goes on fresh paint. Even if you use polish or glaze, make sure it's "body shop safe."

A pure carnuaba like Pinnacle line should be able to be used almost immediately, and the UV protection is the biggest benefit. I would stay away from products with chemical cleaners and abrasives as possible.
