Well here are three pictures of TWO of my wheels that were torn up on a curb by an inexperienced driver(not me but previous owner). The reason im making this post is too see if there is anyone on the East Coast that could possibly repair these for me. Im starting to become hopeless on this and i really like to keep everything perfect and this bothers the crap outta me hahah

Curb Kissing! I have seen a few on the forums that have tackled this with success.

Can't find it but some did a review with the products in kit below, they smoothed out the wheel and repainted them.

German Wheel Restoration Kit

Might have been on Bimmer forum or Autopia, if someone else remembers help him out, I am drawing a blank.

Hey Meghan, thank you for the quick response. Im going to look into that some more and see if im able to fix it.

I feel bad because on a detailing forum , everything is suppose to be perfect. Now im showing pictures of dirty, salty wheels from 2 weeks of snow, rain and ice driving. hahah This is surely going to hit my reputation hard lol

The last wheels that I repaired were on an Audi. They came out perfect with the products on this link. German Wheel Scuff Repair Kit
Very easy DIY project. First make sure that the whole wheel is very clean or the clear coat overspray will react with the brakedust and discolor. You can fill scuff areas with Bondo, then sand or just sand down the existing scuff. ( I've done it both ways and both turn out looking great). Mask the tire with duct tape (nothing else will stick). Mask the fenders and wells with paper and tape to protect from overspray. Spray slowly with many light coats. You'll be amazed at how well the paint will just blend in with the existing wheel color.

Hmmm ok now im getting excited about the product. Heres a good question. Im pretty sure my wheels have CC on them, but you were sayiing that the paint will blend in. My wheels are just a polished metal with no paint. Does the paint somehow look like polished aluminum>?? If so, then im buying this no doubt

What kind of Bondo do you recommend??

Whoa. Oh darn. Hard to see in the photos but those do look more like polished aluminum. Most German wheels are painted with a very silvery metallic paint that looks very similar to your photos. No you can't touch up polished aluminum with this. I'm at a loss since I have no experience with polished aluminum repair. I apologize for being misleading. Glad that you said something.

Hey no worries my friend lol. I appreciate you helpin out though. Im on another forum for Audi's and they are basically giving me the cold shoulder hahh.... Im glad to be an AUTOGEEK

Where are you located ?

Hey AudiTTman, I had a guy locally, Augusta, Ga. repair 2 of mine. They are polished aluminum with clearcoat. He can right to my house and did it in the driveway. He has a trailer that he works out of. Guarantees his work for life. I'm not sure if he bought into a franchise or not. I'll PM you some more info.

have you tried to find them on Ebay or a used wheel store ?? Sometimes you can find a nice deal from someone that exchanged for custom wheels.

Im with Killrwheels on this - Find some take-offs on Ebay for $30 to $80 Each and you will save yourself time money and aggravation. Then take the ones you take off and with the tires removed repair them using the GERMAN WHEEL REAPIR KIT. I repair wheels with it all the time that have minor rash 1 or 2 inches long. It works great!

you can usually find some off of vwvortex.com in the classifieds for pretty cheap

If nothing else check with higher end dealerships (even check with Audi) to see if they have a wheel repair guy. I worked for a Toyota dealership and did deliveries to a Lexus dealership and every trade in they got they fixed the curb rashes with. I asked the guy when I saw him there and he said he would have charged me around 40 bucks a wheel which I didn't think was bad. Not sure how much the average goes for wheel repair though. I need to do this for my new-to-me wheels that I just got.

Looks like you need to do some metal work and file down the rough spots and damaged sections, then work your way up in grit with sand paper, until they are ready to polish. Polish up the damaged areas and then shoot with clear, if you want. Chances are the damaged area will end up looking much more shiny than the rest of the wheel without clear, so a clear coat should help dull the look similar to the rest of the wheel.

I don't refinish wheels professionally, but that is the methodology behind it.
