repairing paint

Hi im new here and looking forward on getting some advice from the friendly and informative community here

I have some imperfections in my paint work it looks like the pervious owner once have decals on the car..

It has left a fine border like line on the paint now its not deep but can slightly catch it with my nail..

I will include a picture so you all know what im dealing with..

What would be the best technique to repair this or at least make it less noticeable?View attachment 59822

If it's leftover adhesive from decals, try 3M adhesive remover.

Then, maybe work a clay bar over it afterward.

Thanks for replying PaulMys yes i will certainly give that a go I'm hoping that will help otherwise i may have to do a light wetsand and touch up perhaps..
