I was wondering if anyone else here has had to replace one of the bulbs in their brinkmann light or not. The bottom light on mine went out. I was able to TO the light bulb (by removing the plastic housing and then taking out the glass/gasket etc) but im not quite sure how to actually take the bulb out. Also where can i get a replacement? I THINK HD sells em but not totally sure.

thanks guys.

I thought thats how it was suppose to come out...but wasnt totally and didnt' wanna screw up :). I like the warranty info at the bottom of that page...'full 1 year warranty that doesn't extend to the lights or battery' lol...thats pretty much the important stuff :).

Thanks again.

No problem. Yea, I'm not sure what else could happen..a missing screw or something..

I'm sure you know this and my practice, also, is to: I always wear lint-free or latex gloves when replacing any type of bulb(s). :)

yeah ive heard oils from your fingers make the bulbs burn out faster...dunno how true it is but i try to usually wear gloves

At least you can replace the bulbs. Once the battery pukes you have to throw it away or custom make a battery pack.

My battery won't take a charge anymore. :(

Interesting...looks like standard T10 bulbs from the picture. I'm going to play around with swapping a T10 LED bulb in one of the sockets. That way I can alternate between the two types of lighting to spot defects.

Let me know how it works out for you
