Request: Advice on removing road acquired spots off of ceramic/PPF

As stated before i wouldnt want chemicals messing up PPF. You tried a lot of things and it didn’t remove it. Going to stronger chemicals might remove it but will remove coating.

Also all that mechanical abrasion removing the stuff will probably leave marring. How would you fix the marring?

I feel a polishing pad with a light polish will do less damage.

You are getting correct info but don’t seem to like the answers.

Instead of asking for advice and not using it why don’t you just post what you wanna do and see if some of these guys will agree…

You misunderstand. I ask questions so I can understand why and better follow the best advice. Previously, in my mind, if there were a chemical that can remove the stain while minimizing the coating removal and leaving no PPF damage, that would be ideal. I was hoping that this group can help me identify it. To me, any polishing is "scratching" off the stain, which seemed to be more damaging. I wanted to understand whypolishing was better.

All my experimentation was done on an inconspicuous spot so I can observe the results before I moved on to any other area.

Still, another curious matter was what substance could latch itself onto a cured ceramic coating and refuse to come off unless the coating goes with it (and only visible under UV). The only clue I have is that it fluoresces under UV, which is likely biological. My research suggests that it's bird dropping. In another post, someone talked about bird dropping etching ceramic coating, so I guess it's plausible.

@The Guz made a sensical comment in another thread about polishing, so that's where I'm headed next.
 
Here's what I'm going to tell you if you only see them on there under specific UV lighting and not your naked eye just move on with your life and don't waste time on it. Life is short go out there and enjoy it
