The 1st pic doesn't look too bad. [at least from what I can tell in the picture]
The 2nd and 3rd pic is the reason why I pretty much never apply any kind of trim restorer, dressing, coating, etc. to those smooth plastic trim pieces that can be found on alot of modern vehicles. That material is just too unpredictable.

Update us on how removing it turns out for you, and also let us know if you choose to re apply DLux and how it turns out the 2nd time around. Personally, I wouldn't re apply that stuff there.

All I use is spray wax for that area.. Occasionally I'll deep clean the strip of rubber lining the bottom of the window with APC. Maintaining it with D114 and D156 does a decent job of keeping it looking good.

Well since I have Essence already, I might give it a try. Which pad would you guys recommend, white?

Polish the plastic trim with Essence. It will not stain the trim and should fully remove the excess DLUX.

^^This is exactly what you want to do, and what CarPro recommends for smooth trim. Textured can be a bit trickier. Always start with a small test spot.

The DLUX must be on there pretty thick..................

Things that I have tried for small DLUX boo-boos:

1. Use more DLUX to "even out" the dumb areas.
2. Polish with Essence. It's crazy how well Essence works on plastic/rubber.
3. Cry deeply, like a boss.
