Respect the work... But is it really worth that much?

or two weeks out of the year, highly skilled left handed midget albino artisan wax palm floggers climb each tree selecting only the finest palm fronds from the tree. Carefully, they bring the palm fronds to our meticulously cleaned threshing floor where they begin the humane task of threshing the palm against the bare backs of virgins ( Enrique has been a state certified virgin for 25 years). While the threshing process is commencing each tear is collected and blended with lavishing care to the precious raw carnuba flakes. the flakes are stored for a period of 3 years in a hermetically sealed container and allowed to ferment under strict temperature conditions. After three years, each container's contents are poured onto a large alabaster tables where the now softened flakes are hand aerated by noble families on work release. the batches are then graded and accordingly and are then refined in an exclusively patented process that has been passed down from mouth to ear for generations.

What comes out is a gorgeous wax powder that is dry yet feels slickery to the touch. We then infuse our secret blend of essential oils, insect pheromones along with yeti and chupacabra hormones and melt the wax in large vats on a full moon when the tide is at its highest while doing ceremonial dances to the " jetting" god.

When poured into each container for our clients, the wax veritably glows of its own accord. then each container is inspected under hushed tones and warding gestures before being sealed.

... And That's why you pay so much for the product ( its the sizzle man, the sizzle).

Are you coming out with a book on that process? I would read that! ROFL

Prologue:
I can vaguely remember now…

Act I.
Once, while awaiting the return of my beloved chick-magnet (1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa)
from its 'Detail-session' with this same, particularly well-respected: Professional Detailer...

My friends and I were enjoying some vintage (50 years-old) "potent potables"
at the Montage Beverly Hills': Macallan Lounge.

Act II.

However:
Upon being notified that my vehicle would not be ready until the next day’s afternoon hours;
and, then, to maintain a semblance of order…(Not utter enragement!!)…

I became quite inebriated when I started doing $60,000 shots of some 64 years-old Macallan Whiskey!!
(Sorry, yet glad at the same time, that there are no pictures of my doing so.)

Epilogue:
Upon the receipt of my Ferrari…I can aver/attest that it had never, ever looked this grand!!
I hope you agree that this 'Detail-session' was: "really worth that much"...
because I feel it was money well spent!!

^ ROFL!!!!! Yeah I feel like you should charge whats fair but for what he's charging, I'd hope he's detailing my shocks, springs under body and every inch under the hood. Sounds like great media hype more than anything else. After watching how Larry Kosilla worked on the Ferrari GTO and how he took different materials the panels were made off into account before correcting the paint, I feel like what the guy in the video is talking about is really just BS. Not overkill, just BS.

That guy is Larry's brother!

LOL! Love it! :D

Where did you find that?

pretty much more cash than common sense.

now the high dollar wax, would probably be a limited edition Zymol product specifically for that type of white paint. the tub is a lot larger than most consumers are willing to use in a lifetime. so that would be an industrial sized pot.

RaskyR1, I made that stuff up off the top of my head.

Vidur119, I write nonsense all the time on the internet, but maybe I should compile a list of stuff.

I got a lotta laughs sending that around the office... Good stuff!

This is how they detail the popes whip too! Straight Jedi Material

Quick research on the really cool exotic acrylic thingy:

Zymol Royale Glaze (50oz.) It was originally formulated to protect the finish of the Bugatti Royale, a rare late 1920's ultra-luxury car (only about half a dozen were built) so meticulously crafted and exquisitely engineered that today it is considered a work of art. Suitable for all paint types and colors. Royale Glaze contains 70% Brazilian No.1 White Carnauba by volume, which is the absolute highest quality available anywhere! Ingredients: Contains white carnauba sap, Montan Evergreen Oil, Sunflower Oil, Cantaloupe Oil, Coconut Oil, Honeydew extract, Strawberry extract, Propolis (derived from bees) and pure glycerin. Royale Glaze contains 70% Brazilian No.1 White Carnauba by volume.

with that you get 50 oz of product which by the math means that you are paying roughly 150 an ounce.

seems insanely expensive especially with a six pound acrylic gift box...

But wait, there's more!! Truffles cost around that much, ( the underground root/fungus thingy) and how long do those last?

some perfumes cost that much also which I think last a tad bit longer.

now for the piece de resistance' ( think that's french for " and now for the Kool Sh!T") free lifetime refills!!!

you could open up a chain of detail shops with just one container of white cryptonite IMO.

so anybody wanna guess how many cars, boats, trucks, vans, submarines, motorcycles, mopeds, ATVs, 18 wheelers, John Deere tractors, school projects you would have to go through to finish up 50 oz of wax?

Damn - I upsale Collinite 845 like it is amazing (and it is by the way) and that is at or around $20 lmao! Guess I just need to buy a very fancy container for the 845 and upsell it like it is king worthy (which it is) lol again!

Dayum! I forgot to add U.F.Os and stealth aircraft!!

hell I could do a write up for ya on the collinite, extolling whatever virtues you want.

I can put words like " developed by the team of scientists that developed ablative plating on space shuttles", "Using bleeding edge carbon nanotube and fiberoptic technology", "made with Snowdonia Hawkweed extract and Cycad (Encephalartos woodii)sap". only limited by the internet and imagination.
