Review: Autogeek Knee N’ Back Pad

Hope this mean you grabed one yesterday?

Ha, nah I'll pass on the pad... It's a bit rich for my blood, plus I never go into wheel cleaning with the mindset that it's going to take me long enough to have to kneel/sit for that long of time... I like to hit & run, take no prisoners and kill brake dust and blooming with the quikness. Lol.

I have some kneepads, but @$40 I'd invest in some premium kneepads instead because I like the idea of not having to pickup/carry around the padding everytime I switch positions.

I ended up buying a glass coating/sealant.

... I ended up having to eat my words earlier today. I detailed a big Chevy truck, which included having to prep the tires for coating, nasty wells, caked barrels, etc.

I thought to myself "this is what I get for saying I'll pass on the knee pad" lol.

Lesson learned! Order one next time a good sale is going on.

Still have my eye on this. How is it holding up Angus? Have you found yourself using it a lot. I am sure a big Labor day sale is coming up.

I purchased one a little while back and had it stored out of view but last week I had it out and the wife walked in and saw it, well I have to order a replacement now as she is now keeping it !

May have to look into this. I use my construction-style knee pads, but they're awkward and a pain to use when detailing.

Nice tractor. I had a similar one when I had a house with property in Colorado many years ago.

Same here, kneepads save your knees but they're uncomfortable as heck after a little while... But then I don't like the idea of having to pick up a pad and dragging it around the whole time.

Eldorado2K...What did you dress those tires with?

The ones in this thread?

TW Endura Tire Coating... But in that pic the tire isn't coated yet. That picture is after I was finally done getting it surgically clean and I had just rinsed it with water. It looked much better after it was coated.

Here's what they look like when they're all done.

I just noticed he had changed the wheels & tires because I guess that didn't happen the same day... But it's the same truck and I detail it the same every time. Lol
