Review: BF BlackIce

Wow $150 for wax! That sounds so over priced it's not even funny. I'm sure it does a great job but how many of you that bought would actually say it's worth it?

Yea I think it is but its all about your own perception and where you spend your money. Usually you can have this wax for $102 when they have a good sale.

Yeah that's sounds about right. I guess I find myself spending way more on some things that most people would only spend a couple bucks. I'm just new to the scene and that $150 just caught me off guard, ha ha.

Trust me man I am cheap, but on car stuff I do spend alot of cash and most likely will be pulling back. Soon I will be trying this wax on my new car that is a graphite color... so stay tunned.

Also welcome to AGO!.

Thanks Bull. I can see this is going to cost me waaay more then I thought, ha ha.
That tends to happen around here lol. I know that BlackIce is definitely on my list to get very soon, it looks amazing on dark cars, and 3 of my cars are black, so it only seems like the right stuff to use

I usually justify products at this price point by calculating cost per application. It doesn't hurt as bad when I think about 3 bucks per use for example. This especially holds true for high end LSP's where a little goes a long way.

Is there anyway to get this in a smaller size? I was told I should get 25-30 uses out of it. Heck I'll be on to another product before I even get close to using this all up.

Have any new news how long did it last. Better than wet diamond I am really interested getting it for my black denali and lexus

It is has been very durable for me on my truck that sits out 24x7-more than any sealant I have used (BF, WG, PL).

I was fortunate to receive a free sample of it recently from AG (thanks Meghan).
Applied with PC and 4" Black Pad. Really easy to use, nice thin coat with the PC so wipe off was a breeze. The pics speak to the depth of shine and overall wet look. Can't comment on durability as mine's a garage queen. Defintiely :dblthumb2:

Bought a 3oz during the rollback sale. All I can say is wow! This stuff is amazing. Easy on and easy off.

I didn't have any sunlight left when I finished so i couldn't get very good of pics. Here is one until I get time to snap some in sunlight.

I first used BFBI at the end of march on my 2010 Acura which I ended up trading in on May 16th and that wore BI till then. Later on in June when I went back to Acura to pick something up for my new Acura, the one I traded in was sitting on the used lot and was the only one that was still beading after all the washes the dealership did.:dblthumb2:

I applied BI on my 2013 Acura back in May and it was still beading till 3 weeks ago when I applied BFWD and BFBI on top.

Thanks for the reply! I have enough LSP's to last several generations but I keep thinking about Black Ice.
