Review: BLACKFIRE Total Polish & Seal

TPnS is a good product for general light polishing and light swirl removal.

When my wife got her SUV it was covered in water spots, and I wanted to bring some gloss back before doing a full restoration. I decided to hit the hood with TPnS on a 5.5" Orange LC Light Cutting Pad via the PC7424XP at full speed. The results were good considering this is a product that I don't consider to have much cutting ability.

A couple of weeks later, the car was given a proper correction and was coated with 22ple VX1 Pro. You can see the transformation here if you are interested. It took FG400 on an orange pad to clean up the car, so for that reason alone, I think TPnS did a very decent job.

What other aio have you used??

I have used klasse AIO, and Poorboy’s World Polish with Carnauba. The reason i was amazed with the BLACKFIRE Total Polish & Seal was because it really brought out the flakes and removed the light swirls.

"The polish did remove all the swirls that were in the paint which was surprising since I did it by hand and was not expecting them to all be removed."

I suspect the swirls were not removed, but were made less noticeable; especially since the application was done by hand.

I recently read one of Mike's posts on Man vs. Machine....he took something like 2 1/2 hours to remove swirls from just the hood of the vehicle.

Pick a small section and hit it with Eraser and a Brinkman...take a picture and then I will believe the swirls were removed.

The mustang had light swirls so it did not take much to remove them. If the mustang had heavier swirls then i agree it would have taken more time to remove the swirls.

Since the Total Polish and Seal cleans, polishes and leaves behind some sealant, would it be advised or possible to go back over it with a dedicated sealant such as Wolf Gang Deep Gloss Liquid Sealant?
Also would it bond?

If you wanted to go over the BLACKFIRE Total Polish & Seal with WGDGPS you could there would be no bonding issues.
