So today I got my BOGO of this and decided to give it a try and it was a legit test, the car was driven in all day rain on Christmas Eve and the car wash trashed, properly trashed infact!
I would like to say right off the bat there's no "before and afters" as I washed the car down in the garage and the lighting isn't the best, so you'll have to take my word for what I have to say (or not, its up to you)
For starters this is the 3rd waterless I've tried, first was the ECO TOUCH and next was Griot's Garage. I've had nothing but good things to say about my first 2 experiences with waterless washes and because this was on BOGO and FREE shipping I decided to step up, you can never have too many cleaning supplies, right:dblthumb2:
I followed the direcitons exactly, 4:1 is the recommended dilution ratio and for this I used an old ECO TOUCH spray bottle. Now I should say that this bottle was an old wheel cleaner bottle, cleaned out really good before using, ofcoarse and I say this because the BF waterless came out a little foamy I guess you could say but honestly, with how dirty the car was, this was a good thing!
I did a section at a time and made sure I covered everything well, like I said, the car was trashed. I have edgeless, plush mf towels for this very use and they work great and should be the ONLY type of mf towel you use when using ANY waterless, period. Once I cleaned a section I used my old Cobra mf towel to buff out the left over and it came out great, left a great shine behind and the paint was VERY slick to the touch:dblthumb2:
I'm not sure what it is about the BF waterless but out of the 3 I've tried so far, this one did the best job, it really kicked arse! Its not that the others didn't do a good job, they did an do but the BF just seemed to do a better job, a job you could really see the difference in. In fairness I should say the Griot's Garage waterless I only did a small section of the car, just to try it, so maybe a full carwash is need for a complete and fair comparison.
In closing I would highly recommend picking up some of the BF waterless wash concentrate because its really THAT GOOD! One bottle makes a total of 80 ounces of product! Sure I got it on BOGO and that makes it an even better value but still, if your looking to try out a waterless for the 1st time or your looking for something new, this is one to try for sure, no doubt about it:dblthumb2:
