CarPro Description:

CarPro has done it again with their new glass cleaner! CarPro Clarify is formulated to provide streak free glass with less effort! Lets face it... nobody likes cleaning glass... Until now! With this new easy to use and streak free formula, glass cleaning is no longer such a chore and it certainly doesn't hurt that the smell is so pleasant! Not only does Clarify wipe off with ease but it won't damage your ceramic coating or windshield sealant! Whats more, it cuts through traffic film, oils, and fingerprints with ease! CarPro Clarify is safe to use on the interior and exterior of your glass, leaving streak free results and perfect clarity every time!

Features:

  • Streak-free cleaning
  • Removes dirt, oil, and contamination
  • Safe for interior and exterior
  • Doesn't damage you rain repellent
  • Powerful cleaning effect
Glass Cleaning Directions:

  1. Pair with a Cloudbuster or CarPro Glassfiber cleaning towel for superior results
  2. Spray 1-2 sprays on the surface or on the towel
  3. Wipe surface with firm pressure
  4. Flip towel to clean dry side or use separate clean dry towel for final wipe
Additional Glass Cleaning Tips

  1. Clean interior glass last (after all interior dressing is complete)
  2. Fold glass cleaning towel twice (into quarters) When in use keep flat and folded so cleaning and wiping pressure is evenly distributed.
  3. Never finish glass with a dirty or saturated towel
  4. On interior of glass - finish in left to right direction. On exterior of glass - finish in vertical direction. In this manner you can easily identify which side of the glass a streak is on IF you see one after cleaning.

As I mentioned Avi sent me a small product sample prior to it’s release to test out. I liked it enough to purchase a larger bottle. This was announced at SEMA 2019 and is a new product in the CarPro line up. They now have their own dedicated glass cleaner.

Some of the claims on the bottle.

Directions are straight forward. It is just like any other glass cleaner. The key with this one is that not a lot of product is needed. If more is used it will leave a slight haze which will be noticed when the glass fogs due to a temperature difference inside the car similar to other glass cleaners. Not an issue on the outside glass.

It does work great with any glass towel but my preferred glass towel for the inside is the CarPro GlassFiber. It works so well with any glass cleaner including Clarify.

I currently use Sonax Glass Cleaner as that has become my favorite compared to glass cleaners such as Invisible Glass and Sprayway. Clarify is just as good as Sonax with the caveat of Clarify having a better lubrication. Cleaning power is equal.

Some like to use CarPro Eraser as their glass cleaner and it does work well especially to remove that haze on the front inner glass. I have used it myself and one of the draw backs is that the towel drags on the glass making it a bit harder to wipe the glass. Clarify as I mentioned has better lubricity but I have been told it has more cleaning ability than Eraser and has less alcohol than Eraser. Which is why it has a claim of not degrading one’s glass sealant.

Clarify also has a good scent so it makes it a joy to use. I have also not had any streaking from it.

I would recommend giving this glass cleaner a try if looking to try something new. Some will be turned off by the price as there are other glass cleaners that cost less and get the job done.

As always thanks for reading.

Cheers, always liked carpro products. Have ised Gyeon glass (very good) and angelwax vision (excellent) so far which do the job very well.

Thanks for the review! Ordering a few of those glass towels...

Great stuff my friend, nice review. :props:

I love Clarify!!! I had some samples sent to me for testing, & I consistently got fantastic results every time. A little biased I guess but definitely the best glass cleaner I’ve used in a long while.

I ran out of “sample” bottles a while back & CarPro NZ order is due to land while I’m here in the USA, I’m looking forward to using Clarify in the shop & having it on the shelves for retail too.

Thanks for the review Mike, awesome. :props:

I agree it a great glass cleaner.

Nice review, looks like I need to order some. I noticed you mentioned liking the Carpro towel for doing the windows, does the sponge core actually reduce the number of towels you need to use? Right now I use 5-6 for a car. Wondering if I could get away 3 or something with these?

I was wondering about that new product, hopefully we will see it on AG soon in 2020. Sonax glass product is good but I prefer the price of Stoner's products. But then again watch AG specials on FB, I have a gallon of the BF-Glass to use up first.

You get get around with less towels using these CarPro towels.

A shame AP or AG doesn't have Clarify in stock yet, I really wanted to order from one of them. Right now I use 15'ish towels if I do 3 cars in a day. I think this cleaner + their towels would be worth the extra $$$. $45 a gallon sounds like a lot, but it should last a long time so it's all relative. I like low nap towels for cleaning the dash and door panels. So maybe even their glassfiber towels would be good for that. I have 6 in my cart elsewhere, a shame when my brain thinks "hummm, $10 for a glass towel isn't too bad" lol. Well 20% off too, so that makes them only $8 a piece, what a steal! Maybe I should order a dozen

I thought the same thing not having it in stock I also don’t understand why companies like Meguiar’s doesn’t have stores stocked the same week of the SEMA show just seems like a missed opportunity.Turtle wax blew the the doors of that dated model by releasing before and stock around the SEMA show

Yes, to hype a product but then have it hard or impossible to buy's kind of dumb. Hype dies down, then people forget and there are a million other products out there to get us detailers side tracked on lol. You can buy it on CarPro's web site and a few other places. But I know a lot of people are loyal and only order from AG.

Man, this stuff is the bomb!!

Now I don’t know whether to order the Nextzett glass cleaner or wait for this to become available

Nextzett's class cleaner can't be shipped to California, I know because I tried to order it. I'm super curious about a glass cleaner that has CA restrictions. I need to get some unsuspecting person in one of the other 49 states to smuggle me in some lol.

Clarify's GOOD stuff, but the few Nexzett products I've used have been great.

Nexzett it smells like a public toilet, and is not that good. I would hold out and get the carpro.

I haven't tried the Clarify glass cleaner yet but I am sold on the Carpro glass towels. I use a waffle weave for cleaning the heavy grime and then finish up with the Carpro. It cleans steak free without any grab. I still like the Griots glass towels but the Carpro is slightly better.

Carpro's glass towels are the bomb! Use it with Clarify and you have a one two punch.

If your glass is really grimy do as Uncle Davy suggested. I would use alcohol and a waffle weave towel for the first pass and then Clarify and a Carpro glass towel.

I think Ech2o 1st pass Clarify 2nd pass is a great combo. I've used both 2 times now and I'm really impressed. I wish CarPro stuff wasn't so pricey. But then again I need to remember before I discovered detailing I always managed to find something pricey to blow my money on.
