Thoughts:
This is one of my favorite products for touching up the interior of my car, which doesn’t get overly dirty but sees dust and some smudges and shoes scuff now and then. I initially purchased this product due to its “AIO” abilities for my interior. I wanted something quick to touch up, yet clean and protect my interior plastics and vinyl. I can indeed say it meets most of the claims made by CG. (surprising to some I know ;))

Pros:
First it does maintain the appearance of your dash, and is indeed “matte” in nature. I am not a glossy interior fellow, this isn’t glossy. Yes there’s some gloss, which I will assume is due to the protection it offers, however it’s not crazy at all, it’s slight.

It is good for LIGHT cleaning. No heavy soiling and not for fabric/carpets. By light cleaning I mean dust, finger smudges, animal paw prints. Works well on those things!

It does help repel dust, but it’s not 100%. If you apply, spread, then buff with another towel, I noticed it does help dust attraction and it does minimize it.

Cons:

Smell is bearable, not the best and certainly not “fresh”. It does go away quite fast, which is nice since to me it is decent smelling. I prefer to keep my interior fresh with Stripper Scent 24/7.

You can over apply, if you use too much you see a little streaking.

This isn’t safe for carpets, and not for REAL LEATHER. I don’t know why, but it’s a no-no on those surfaces.

Since it does having cleaning power, it does remove some previous dressing you may have applied. I had UIGP down, it didn’t hinder that, but a previous time I had Megs Interior Protectant on and CG InnerClean cleaned it off, so YMMV with your dressings.

Overall, good buy. I’m eager to try some other interior detailers that have the same abilities, but compared to Megs Interior Detailer, I’d take Inner Clean. The price for 16oz is I believe 11.99, so it’s pricey compared to offerings like Meguiars Interior Detailer for example where it can be found for as low as 4.99 in some places.

Nice review.

I went through a bottle of this product, enjoyed a lot and just after that even the CG website stopped shipping to Brazil. AG does not ships CG internationally as well.

That said, this is the reason I stopped using it. Your review is very precise (compared to what I thought while using it).

Honestly, I like the smell (haha), it's like pinnacle scent that goes away shortly.

Ordered it for the same reason, fast interior cleanup / touchup. Meet the claim.

Out of curiosity, I always see the Stripper scent available locally but it's expensive (for the purpose), and I don't want to spend if it will not contribute to customer's satisfaction.

Do you think it's worth investment? What are your thoughts about it (I know you like it since use daily), but, would you recommend for the 'general public'?

Thanks a lot for contributing with this review.

I use this product as well. I also really like the smell and my customers have commented they like it. I mainly use it on the dash, center console, driver area, gauge cluster, steering wheel. Delicate areas where you don't want or need a strong APC. All other interior panels I use OPC or CG all clean+.

Nice review. I've been using this for about 6 months now and I would have to agree with all of your points. I found it good for light cleaning but not very efficient in the "shoe contact zone", where a diluted APC was better. If you have a vehicle with leather, then this product doesn't really make sense, since its not safe for it. Why not just get something that's safe for everything??

When my bottle runs out I won't be replacing it since I don't really have a need for this. My interior is now protected with PERL and all I'll be doing is a wipedown with a damp (just water) microfibre for maintenance.

PS - For me, the smell is the biggest negative. I guess to each their own :)

My favorite right now is SCG Pro Line Interior Quick Detailer. Why Inner Clean over Meg's? Same finish and you can use Meg's on leather.

I agree in the smell it's not my favorite. I use this a lot on my wife's car for just a full wiped own of the inside. And for in between cleans on my own car.

Honestly Stripper Scent smells great to me, problem is, lasts only a day or two. Other CG scents last a lot longer like Green Apple, and the new Grape scent. Poorboys has a vanilla scent that's similar. I purchased a gallon of the Stripper Scent, so it makes it a better value, but if you're getting just one bottle to try, it's pricey and can get better scents from CG.

How do you like PERL?

I prefer InnerClean as to me eye it seems to leave a more visible layer of protection behind. :dblthumb2:

It's perfect for "in betweens", spot on!

I'm in the same boat when it comes to the smell of it. Not to happy but also not bad enough I don't care about it. And, it does go away fairly fast.

I do Enjoy the non glossy look it leaves afterwards.

Nice review!

I like innerclean so much I just bought a gallon of it. I have used it on a lot of cars it leaves a nice matte finish and I personally like the smell.

I use Inner Clean as well for almost all my details. I typically top it with 303 Aerospace for that slightly shiny look. Lasts a long time too.

I have the 16oz bottle which i refill with my gallon size when needed. Very cheap if bought by gallon.
