Today's review is on the CQuartz DLUX product

The vehicle: 2005 Jeep Wrangler
Condition: Faded and weathered trim
Task: Put some life back into the trim and other exterior plastic components
Product: CQuartz DLUX

CQuartz DLux Plastic & Wheel Coating

It is advertised as a semi-permanent coating which last up to one year and "restores the plastic and rubber exterior surfaces with a low-gloss, like-new factory finish that stays cleaner longer"

I had taken a few before picture but none came out, so I will share these dramatic 50-50

Application was pretty simple. We washed the Jeep, further cleaned the areas with some exterior APC and a gentle aggitation DP Cleanse-All Exterior Cleaner works as a bug & tar remover, a wheel cleaner, a tire cleaner, an engine degreaser, a convertible top cleaner, a vinyl.

Once squeaky clean, we then proceeded as per instructions. Straight forward!

The results are pretty dramatic. A little of the product goes a long way. I believe we ended up using 1/2 of the bottle for the whole jeep. I will definitely use the product again, especially if it lives up to the 1 year longevity. Only time will tell.

Funny side note. In taking the picture with the product on the fender I had to move the bottle to the unrestored side because it would keep sliding off the fender. Slick as bananas....Pretty amazing!

Thanks for sharing. Do you think it will last for along time against normal washing and rain? It would be good to follow up on that. Thanks in advance.
 
CQuartz DLux is an amazing product and to this date the most durable long lasting trim treatment I've used. :props:

I actually selected the CQuartz based on Bobby G prior recommendation. I will be glad to give a follow up. This Jeep is kept outside 24/7 in the Southern Louisiana sun, heat and rain. What better place to try this product!

looking very good job.. so you used 15ml for that whole car plastics?? 1 layer?
pretty surprising...
you could do your wheels as well with the rest
 
i need to try this on the plastic exterior pieces on the hummer.

Correct, one layer and it looked good enough for me to call it quits.

I did consider using the rest on the wheels but wanted t to possibly reapply down the road (after a few months) and do a 50-50 to see if it even helps.

We shall see!
 
Sorry to bump an old thread, but Dr Pain....could I trouble you for your thoughts after a few months? I'm considering buying this product.

Don't walk, RUN, and buy this product! LOL

I concur, and again a great big thanks to all, like BobbyG, and others here, who have had nothing but glowing results, and comments about this product.

I know what the hesitation, and "fear" is, with trying some of the many newfangled products.
A worry that much money was spent, and wasted.

You won't find that with this particular product, it is truly outstanding, gives remarkable final results, and it appears it does last a long time. This equates IMO to a very economical product in truth, and the quality of results it gives I have found are basically second to none.

I feel that this product will be worthy of a show car, a vintage collectable, a daily driver, and if money fell from heaven, I wouldn't hesitate to use this product on a 458 Ferarri Italia, a Bentley, Jag, Aston Martin, etc.

This is a top quality product, and so far, every product I've bought that has the name CarPro on it, has met its claims fully.

According to everyone's feedback, this looks like a great product, not that I don't believe you guys, for me seeing is believing and I would also like to know how that has help up because I am planning to purchase this for the current sale.
