Review: Crimson HydroTech Foam Pad (6.5")

Very good review and very helpful to me at this point as I am looking to buy some more pads my Soft buff pads are a bit abused :P
 
This review was written about a year ago and I just wanted to mention something. I purchased about 6 more of these some time ago and really like them. When I was polishing Sky up for Detailfest this year I did a test side by side on the hood for my finishing polish pad. I used a gray LC Flat pad and a Crimson. On my Sky paint after seeing the two next to each other the Crimson pad (using PO85RD) did end up being chosen. Both looked incredible but the Crimson looked slightly better on this particular paint. If you are looking for a top quality finish I would recomend trying a couple pads side by side to ensure you get the best fit for the paint in question.
