Really? What do you think is too expensive and why? I'm not upset or insulted, just curious. My dad just raised his prices because his competition is getting way more for what they do (which is lower quality work). Even with the new prices, his prices are still lower than most of his immediate competition. Do you own a detailing business, or do you care for your own vehicles?
You contradict yourself.
I think your prices are on the low side but that also depends on market and times spent for each job. If your competition is charging more for lower quality work then the market can sustain higher prices. The problem is your current customers might not. This is the problem with people who start with low prices to enter the market. (not saying this is the case if he has been at it for 20 years) They become locked in to that general price range or end up losing most of their customer base, essentially starting all over again.
There are people willing to pay more for higher quality. This just happens to be a difficult business to market that concept due to the lack of knowledge on the part of the customers.
