Condition for Exterior:
The exterior is well maintained. Just needed a clean up after a rain and some bugs on the front.

This was my first time using a no rinse product. I have always used a hose to wash my vehicles, this seemed like a nice alternative when its not real dirty but to dirty for a QD.

I used the two bucket method.
One bucket with grit guard, 2-3 gallons of water and 2 oz DP rinsless
1 bucket with grit guard and clear water.
microfiber wash mit
2 waffle weave mf towel

Pros of DP:
The smell is bubble gum sent.
Cleans well, removed light dirt and bugs from the front with ease.
Easy to use.
Saves water, who doesnt like a lower water bill?
The shine it left was amazing! It looked as if I just applied a coat of wax.
This product have several other uses as well

water conditioner
Quick detailer
pad conditioner
clay lube

Cons:
I have a little concern with it introduction swirls. My wash mit got pretty dirty. Being as I have always used car shampoo it seems doing it the traditional way your mit gets cleaned as you go in the soap solution. With no rinse the dirt gets trapped in the mit.

Over all Im happy with this product. As I said the shine it left was incredible. Next time I will try my lambs wool mit or a different microfiber that I have.
Im really looking forward to trying this product as a QD.

I have never used a rinseless wash but just recently bought the DP Rinseless. I am wondering since you used the 2 bucket method why didn't your mitt get rinsed in the rinse bucket just like it should have if using a shampoo? Or is it because you rinse your mitt with hose before the rinse bucket?

I did rinse in the bucket, then ring out, then gather new wash solution, but the dirt really seemed to stay in the mit. Without the enzymes and soap, the mit doesnt come clean.

anyone else have input re lake country sponge with rinseless wash? i think ill try it.

I prefer The Bone (MF covered sponge).

Either way, I believe Grit Guards are essential for rinseless washing.

The LC blue sponge is what I use with the DP RW&G. It works great. I now use it with my regular washes as well, that's how much I like it. :xyxthumbs:

the Grit Gard should have given the ability to rub off the mitt from any loose dirt and contaminents.

I did a ONR and had the exact same issue. A single sponge is not a good idea for a rinseless.

Even with vigorous scrubbing on the grit guard, the dirt stayed on the mitts "fingers".

I think multiple MF towels/sponges would be a better way to go instead of a single sponge.

As for your concern,I've started seveal threads labeled "12 washes with ONR" & "12 Washes with ONR sun pic's",do a search.
I use the Grit Gaurd(actually 2 per bucket)and ONR's OptiMitt have NO induced swirling with this process. The OptiMitt lifts the dirt/debri from it and releases dirt with ease rubbing over the GritGaurd.
Should work well for you ;)

My review is over a year old, I used DP all last winter, and a few times this summer. I can report that this washing method had not induced any swirls. Now I do think it takes a bit of common since. Dont keep using your wash media if its really loaded with dirty and grime. Wash the cleanest parts first, then go back and do the lower panels. Finish off doing wheels.

Good stuff!

With any rinse less product you will get dirty as heck MFs or sponges etc.. It just happens and they don't clean if you rub them on the grit guard it's as if the dirt encapsulated itself on the fiber/mitt until it's washed with soap and water

I have always used just a microfiber towel to wash with the Rinseless wash and gloss and that seems to work the best for me but like everybody else has said it just takes common sense and using what you're most comfortable with and you will get great results

rinseless users, do you all use the same wash mitt/sponge/etc. on the paint as you do the wheels?
