I received a called yesterday aroung 2 from a friend of mine. He had just got in from college and wanted his EVO detailed. I last saw this car about 6 months ago. I had polished out and applied a coat of NXT on her. He keeps it parked in a parking garage and keeps it clean the right way. I also gave him a bottle of Meg's Last Touch to keep it fresh. I was amazed that NXT had held up so good. I do contribute alot to the Last Touch but not all. I just don't get how others only see 3 weeks durability.

There was a huge mass of scratches on the roof over the passenger rear door. Looked like someone had layed and dragged a heavy backpack over the finish. About 5 of the scratches were deep and could be felt with my nails. I figured I'd try out DP's Super Swirl Remover and my PC just to see what happened.

You'll see why I was very impressed.....

Washed rinseless with DP's 4-in-1 Wash
(Used plush MF towel and dried with a Cobra Guzzler)
This process and chemical is really impressing me. It's really cutting down on my wash/dry times and alows me to do the door jams at the same time as washing. I also washed the engine and cleaned the wheels with the rinseless wash. This stuff really cleans.

Clayed with Meg's Clay and 4-in-1 as a clay lube

DP's Super Swirl Remover
(EDGE2K Yellow Heavy Cutting Pad at #5 PC Setting)
You'll see in the following pics why I now adore this stuff! Only used it on the roof, hood, and trunklid.

Poorboy's Polish with Sealant
(EDGE2K Green Med. Cutting Pad at a #5 PC setting)
I had a sample of this sent to me this week. I wanted to see how it compared to Poli-Seal. It removed minor swirls better and cleaned better. The surface was also slicker and softer than Poli-Seal. Absolutely no dusting and almost vanished as I worked it into the finish. I have a feeling that this was what I recieved last month as a "mystery" all-in-one.

DP's Max Wax
(Applied with a foam applicator. Removed with a green Cobra MF towel.)
I wanted to give my friend an awesome finish before he went back. I wanted the flakes to pop and simply just look wet. I'm hoping for some sunny seconds before he leaves to get some sun shots for us all.

Other Products Used...
DP Total Interior Cleaner
DP Interior Surface Protectant
DP Krystal Vision Glass Cleaner
DP Wheel Glaze
DP Gloss Tire Gel
DP Spray Surface Shield Paint Sealant

(Applied to all doorjams and under the hood painted areas)

Some befores.....

DP Super Swirl Remover

Justin
This AM scratched DP Swirl Eliminator and DP Finishing Polish off my list to go with your combo of Poli-seal/Optm. polish ( 75/25 ). Do you have a feel for what you would use for a study diet of polish, Poorboys Polish and Sealant, or your Combo ? Thanks.
Jimmie

Another great job on your buddies car. That scratch removal was impressive. As was the rest.

Man there are so many choices. I really like both. My combo is good for light duty polishing and protecting in one single step. You will need a little more cut to really get the swirls out though. The 75/25 combo has more cut than the PWS alone. The PWS has more cut than just Poli-Seal.

If it was me, I'd get the Poli-Seal and Optimum Polish. Then DP's Super Swirl Remover for the hard stuff. It's on sale too!

thats what i call a nice ride:)

Nice job too Justin....

Awesome, how the DP SSR cleaned up those scratches!! Nice work as usual, Justin!! Noticed you did more than a 2x2 area at a time, with the polish. I guess you used more product and with the longer working time, allowed you to polish a larger area?

I actually put to much on my pad. I just worked over a larger area. I've just learned how to do larger areas I guess. This helps with my work time. SSR is an amazing product. It's price may scare people away thinking that it cannot be that good. I think any serious detailer should have all of the DP swirls removers. Their polish is awesome to for amping up the finish.

I strongly suggest to any of you getting ready to order to try the DP line. Simply a hidden gem in a minefield of decisions.

What an anology!

im pretty sure you have used XMT before so if you had to choose, xmt or DP swirl removers and why

im definately oging to have to get the PWS. theyve been talking about it on DC which is how i found out it had been what you used. no negative remarks on it what so ever

Polish with sealant? I agree, you could just use that as your final polishing and top with a regular sealant and nuba or whatever. I don't mind using AIO, but I have to by hand and takes awhile as I can't see it on some of my colors and feel like I miss spots, and tried the PC with it and felt like I was dry buffing.

Thanks Justin . Will try even more DP. What I've got is good.

Sweet job there! That paint dose have the POP! How dose DP polish compare to XMT 3? Or dose it compare more to Poorboys SSR 3?

I think SSR has more cut than XMT3 but I bet it's not sun friendly. I've never used anything from PoorBoys other than the PWS.

I really like DP SSR. I think everyone should own some. It's 9.99 now BEFORE the new 20% off.

Do I need to send you some Poorboys SSR3?:D

I still haven't got your package out Sparkie. I've just been so busy with having to pick up the kids and all. I'm gonna build you one up tonight though. Wifes shopping and I'm at home. I'd love to try some but feel guilty bro. I think you'll love you new package!

Don't worry! I do understand.
Hey, when are you going to use the Klasse high Gloss Sealant? I want a review! :D
