REVIEW: ECO Touch Quick Wax/Wheel Cleaner

Hello All,

I was fortunate enough and was one of the individuals chosen to review the some items from the ECO Touch Product Line.

I received the Waterless Wash, Quick Wax, Wheel Cleaner and Carpet/Upholstery Cleaner.

So..let's get started.
First off, I used the Wheel Cleaner. The Wheel Cleaner does not have a strong scent at all, I honestly couldn't smell it as I sprayed it. The bottle fits easily in my hand and the trigger had a 'foaming' sprayer which helps the product cling to the wheel longer, which I loved. As some have said before, I agree, I will be keeping this bottle for future use. (perfect for when I purchase the gallon size.

The cleaner is also safe on all types of wheels, which is fantastic because I have Matte Black wheels so there are some cleaners I simply can't use.

Process: I wet the wheel then sprayed the Wheel Cleaner onto the wheel and let dwell a bit. I used chemical Guys Matte Wash for the wheels and a Daytona Speed Brush to clean my wheels. (I don't always need a wheel cleaner as the wheels are maintainted well BUT I received the wheel cleaner at a PERFECT time....)
At my job, they decided to Power Wash all the mildew/dirt/ crud off the walls and floor RIGHT next to my car...thus getting it all over my wheels and car. So this is honestly the dirtiest my wheels have ever been since I've had these wheels.

Overall, great product. Works very wheel. No strong scent, safe on all wheels. Great bottle/sprayer.
While I can't speak on tough tough brake dust, or stubborn spots, it worked great on mine.


Next was the Quick Wax.

The wax was honestly great. Again, the bottles are sturdy, and I really liked the sprayer/trigger on this one also. Delivered a good amount of liquid in a uniform fashion on the paint. I had no issues with streaking at all, I even over applied some on purpose, still no issues. Now I haven't used lots of spray waxes but one of my favorites include the Pinnacle Souverän Liquid Spray Wax as I think it adds great shine! (yay for samples, right?) Honestly, I would say ECO Touch Quick Wax rivaled it..

My paint felt SUPER slick after also..I was thoroughly impressed..it was great. I love this wax and since its currently on sale, I will be placing an order for it.

If you haven't tried the product line yet, give it a shot. The prices are very fair..the quality of the two products listed in this review are top notch.

Very nice review, and for some ECO friendly products they sure perform the same if not better than the traditional products
 
Great review Rob and BTW, check your local Target store for ECO TOUCH, its on sale for 30% off! Its also NOT in the auto section either, I think it was home goods. Just Google where to find it and save yourself the gas, I did and the location had it too!

I too used the wheel cleaner today and my wheels weren't real bad but then again I don't let them get that either but the day will come when they will and I will then do the review for it myself.

Btw Rob, those wheels look great!!!

Rob, totally unrelated, but what did you use on you window trim? Vinyl or plasti-dip?

Thank you, my first one actually...finally took the time to watch a video someone posted on here on how to post the pics and it worked perfect. But yes, I agree. ECO will rival products the big name products in my opinion so far.

Thanks! I was actually at Target the other day..and looked in the car section and was disappointed. Happy to know they are in a different section, I will def look!

It's actually all OEM. But it looks/feels as if it's vinyl.
 
Went to my local Target today and got quick wax, waterless both for 5.00 ea and wheel cleaner for 3.00. It was on the end cap on the backside in the car care area.
 
unfortunately, none in FL :( Only two carry in FL
 
Great review. I wonder why ECO hasnt been more popular here? Seems to work great for everyone so far.

Thanks. Not positive why it hasn't been. Maybe we are all so used to seeing the other names like blackfire, optimum, wolfgang, etc etc. I am pretty sure the sales are up this month for ECO
 
great review, i still have yet to try out the quick wax, but its next on my list
 
Thanks for the review, purchased matte black wheels for my wife's 2006 Rav-4, they will need some special attention.
 
In the original post you mentioned you wet the wheel, then sprayed on the wheel cleaner. Did you also rinse the wheels? I understand you just spray the dry wheels , scrub with a brush , and dry with a microfiber. Is this the correct process or do you need to rinse?
 
They are a sleeper here. I also won a package from them. LOVED the products. The wheel cleaner and quik wax were top notch! The quik wax really stood out. They just released a AIO polish/wax on their site that really looks good!

They added a car shampoo and wash & wax shampoo since last year as well...I wonder if they're good?
 
I was going to order some of the Eco tire products, 2 bottles, plus one 8 oz bottle of leather care........... Products were ~$25..... shipping was $33 !!! There is NO way I can buy from this place with shipping charges like this. Ridiculous.
