However mike Phillips also has said that every car including garage kept show cars require polishing every few months to maintain their shine. That's easy on a non coated car. However polishing a coated car will remove the coating if the polish is worth anything in terms of super fine abrasives. Therefore for that show car look month after month, I find coatings a nuisance.
I thought the ceramic coatings are super super glossy. So, if that's The case, why need to polish on a regular basis if the ceramic coating locks in the shine.
