great write up Mike looks like another FLEX winner.

also I think you are missing a D in the statement below for the word PADS

80 - This means the largest pad size - FLEX recommends pas with a 80mm

Thanks.. I'm actually not very good at writing reviews, that's a special type of writing. I think my strengths are in writing "how-tos", which is a very different style of writing.

Can't wait for a comparison with Rupes 75E. Size, power when unit is tilted on tight areas, and also how the side on/off switch feels. I have a few grinders with side switches and prefer the top on/off like the one used on the Rupes 75E.

I received my Flex XFE 7 in the mail the other day and put it to work pronto. It did a great job and it has a bunch more power than my Griots 3". I was worried about it stalling out , but I had no trouble with that issue. It was a little hard for me to see the rotation of the backing plate so I added a mark of paint to it and bingo, I can see it spin now.
