How many towels does it take to detail your vehicle from start to finish? That's a question we get asked a lot, and the answer is always the same: the more towels the better. Dirty towels and dirty applicators need to be properly washed before they can be used again. Poorboy's World couldn't have picked a better time to send us a pallet of their new Typhoon Microfiber Cleaner, because we just finished up another successful 3-day Mike Phillips Competition Ready Detailing Class. What a great test!

Regular laundry detergents are formulated to break down the types of stains found on clothing, like ketchup and chocolate. They are NOT formulated for the specific needs of microfiber towels, or the chemicals found in them (ie: solvents, waxes, silicone oils, etc). A specially formulated microfiber detergent, like this one from Poorboy's World, deep cleans microfiber towels while restoring their soft, supple texture. Microfiber towels are an investment, so it would be wise to pick up a bottle of Poorboy's World Typhoon Microfiber Cleaner.

We had a TON of used microfiber applicators from the class.

This thick gel is highly concentrated, and it only takes 1 ounce to clean 50 towels or less. Simply toss your microfiber towels and applicators into the washing machine and add the detergent.

Poorboy's World Typhoon Microfiber Cleaner did an outstanding job cleaning the microfiber applicators. They felt and looked as good as new!

Great write up Nick. Another great product from Poorboys. I ended up getting a beta version from a giveaway over on Autopia. It was so good I picked up a gallon over another gallon of 3D Towel Kleen.

I'm almost out of Microfiber cleaner and I love Poorboys so this might be my new go-to!

This stuff is really good! I got the chance to test it out in beta stage and was very happy with it!
