Review: Mckee's 37 N-914 Rinseless Wash | On My Jeep That I Have Not Washed In Over A Month!

I'd be shocked if it did... I use a Magic Eraser lubed with hand sanitizer to clean Sharpie descriptions off my bottles, there's no way a rinseless wash solution would do that.

Hey Joe, great review. How was drying this? Did you need to buff a lot to get streaks out or could you just wipe down and whatever small streaks will evaporate?

Before the release of N-914, my go to combo had been D114 & Uber.

Uber - Light duty maintenance & bling factor.
D114 - Heavy cleaning/winter washing.

Did a small experiment yesterday. 1:32 solution for wheel cleaning. It seems N-914 is punchier. If D114 is 100, then N-914 is 105. I'm going to do another comparo @ 1:128 and see it this isn't just 'newness' playing tricks on my mind.

No it won't. I just tried to get this Sharpie mark off my bottle with D114@1:128.

After spraying and wiping 5 separate times...

15 times

20 times

Finally I got tired of scrubbing and used a Magic Eraser, with the same D114 as lube. 1 time.

Now it's done.

Uber is a really great rinseless wash, I would of never attempted to clean this dirty of a car with it though.

Espicially for wheels/tires.

I tried Uber on wheels and tires and got mediocre results.

914 for the dirtier cars.
Uber for some Beauty and gloss.

Very nice review! I was a beta tester and agree with everything you said. The only thing I would add is it is a good idea to use gloves. The McKees D914 dries my hands out like regular car wash soap never did. The cuticle on my right thumb is pealing off after doing a rinseless on two cars. I love the stuff though!

For sure. A brilliant cleaner at 1:128. All my paintwork are(were) done at 1:128. I don't bother with the weaker mixture. Not only that, tossed in some heavily soiled towels in leftover solution and they came out exceptionally clean. It's no slouch as a presoak agent.

With that, I'm extremely happy that McKee's 37 decided to pick up where Meg's left off. Huge thumbs up to Nick and staff for listening to our feedback.

First off sorry about the passing of your Grandfather.

Now onto your review, amazing! I was a beta tester for this and like you I noticed how much dirt N914 removed from the car. My very first test was done on my car was impressive, VERY DIRTY! I went through 3 rinse buckets in fact, keep in mind I have a Fiat 500 Abarth, LOL. The first bucket of rinse covered the roof and all glass, black water!

My gallon arrives today and even though I've already tested it, I can't wait for it to arrive...a game changer in the market!

Just curious - what LSP is on your Jeep, and how long has it been on there?

Hello Headlite, my lsps got comprised due to embedded contaminants due to neglecting by being so busy. My car needs to be clayed and decon right away.

My recent application was powerlock and topped with reload.

Reload has great water beading/sheeting characteristics however it makes the paint a bit grabby, and I feel it is easier for contamination to stick to your paint with a grabby finish.

So my jeep really needs a good decon and good detail soon when I get free time.

Absolutely, I have been called and put in many situations with no water, and like I always say I don't give my customers my problems, they call for me to solve a problem so if I have no hose access, I say no problem. It will get done! And it's nice to know having 914 in my bag that it can take care of even a dirtier car.

Hey Will, thank you for reading. It was really nice to dry off. With one towel the majority of the streaks like you said evaporate, and I was doing in in florida humidity (worse for streaks) and had no issues.

This rinseless wash has a very very unique lubricity feel to it. When washing on a panel the best way to explain it is almost like a slippery gel consistency.

I am a big fan of this product. Like I said in the review, I have mostly tried every rinseless on the market, and this one stands out as some of the best lubrication, (That's one of the most important factors for me in a rinseless) and cleaning ability I have ever used.

Give it a shot, your going to like it for sure.

Hello Scott, thank you for your support for my grandfather he's in a better place.

No 914 does not strip off your lsp, it leaves no protection behind. So it will not alter the characteristics of your lsp.

You are supposed to wear gloves with any contact of chemicals, Detailing gave my hands eczema. I should wear gloves more often, however I don't do it as much as I should.

My hands are pretty sensitive, and 914 didn't dry or bother them. Afterwards wash your hands to ensure solution didn't dry on your hands, not saying you didn't. But it is possible.

Have you guys had any cold weather in FL yet? With humidity and cooler temps, D114 is sometimes difficult to dry completely for me, especially at 1:128 dilution. From my limited testing in leaving the light streaking alone, it does disappear by itself if left long enough. The colder it is, the longer it takes though. I'm curious if 914 behaves the same in the cold. Just from the all the reviews I've read on it so far, I assume it might as similar as the two products appear. It's not really a big issue for me, just something I have noticed. Most rinseless products I've tried tend to be a little more difficult to dry in those same conditions.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to all the questions! It's clear there's a lot of interest in this product, and we all greatly value your opinion with your experience. .

Reason I asked about the state of your LSP is we're in the middle of winter here in MN, and both cars are in tough shape. My wife's Q5 I was able to at least do a decon wash, clay, and a coat of Griots Liquid Gloss Poly Wax (no polishing prior), but my car just got a quick clay mitt and Opti Sealed. I'm new to rinseless washing, and have been reluctant to go after mine for fear of inflicting damage given what I feel is a less than optimal base. My current RW stock is ONR W+S, ONR WW, and Wolfgang Uber.

It sounds like from your description that you get more of a lubricated feel and stronger cleaning power akin to traditional bucket washing compared to other rinseless washes? Obviously user discretion is required as you can mess up anything without proper care.

To add to Legume's post- my normal use temperature is in the 30-40° range in the winter.
