I just recently bought this product(The Meguiars Leather Sealer Kit) off of AG. I applied it for the first time a couple of days ago.
And as much as I love just about everything Megs, I did not like any of the previous leather product offerings by them. Since most of the cars I have owned have been older models, the previous leather offerings did nothing in terms of improving any appearance to somewhat older and more used leather.
This New product is exactly what I was looking for. It makes the leather feel smooth to the touch, and also adds just that Pinch of shine or gloss. Not too much at all. Just enough to make my older Leather Come Back to Life again.
Ok, let's discuss. As far as leather products available from Megs I can honestly say I've been a huge fan for the past 19yrs.. That's how long it's been since I bought my 1st Cadillac, and that's also when my interest in maintaining my car clean was born. And from that time, until just recently [these past 2yrs. or so] my go to product was the Gold Class Leather Cleaner & Conditioner [the wipes, I Loved using the wipes]
I've gone through 5 Cadillacs since and it took alot to get me to switch to something else because I was just so used to it, the scent of that stuff was something I knew I'd miss. I know it sounds corny but just thinking of the scent brings back so many memories. Lol.
BTW, I'm very much aware of most peoples opinion of Gold Class leather wipes on this forum.. I can still remember lurking way back [2006-08] and all I would see is people insulting the thought of actually using it on their leather... Pfft. I didn't care then, and I still don't care what people think, that was my stuff and I liked it! Lol.
.... But anyways, I can't help but be surprised by your findings as far as previous leather products by Megs in comparison to this Sealer Combo... I've used nothing but Megs leather products in my own cars for 19yrs straight and I think that makes me sort of qualified to state that it's all been pretty much the same exact results from it all.
It took alot for me to switch to Megs D180.. I was very skeptical of it at 1st. I put it though a bunch of tests trying hard to find a reason to not like it so I could stick with my old Gold Class. Lol. But in the end, I found it to produce pretty much the same exact results once both products dry and cure. Only differences are Gold Class cures much faster than D180, and of course the scent. But after 24hrs, you end up with the same exact look & feel on the leather surface. Trust me.
Here's photos just after applying both 50/50. These pics are from 1 of my many tests of them almost 2yrs ago.

6hrs later, Gold Class is just about matte/ideal. And it takes D180 no more than about 20hrs. to join it. Never fails.
I have had this product on my leather interior now for about 2 months. And the only thing I have done with them, is wipe them down lightly with a lightly Damp MF. I can still tell that the product is on there and looking nice.
I'm the only person that is ever really in my car, so the sealer probably is still there
Now as far as this Megs Leather Sealer kit.. 1st thing I couldn't help but notice [from the date of your post], is that it's been1 month, not 2 months since you applied it. Just sayin.

I've also tried this Leather Sealer Kit myself and I kinda sorta disagree with finding much to praise about it.. I'm not bashing it, but IMO I never had an indication of it being there or not. In my opinion, as far as looks alone, it Looks the same exact way for the 1st 24 hours as Gold Class and D180. Same exact look. And once it's cured, good luck being able to tell if it's still there or not a month later. I could be wrong, but unless you were to open up a jar of spaghetti sauce and pour it on your leather seats and prove it's seriously protected compared to another seat, I'd never be able to tell. Lol. And that's what I didn't like about it.. Another thing I didn't like was not really feeling sure how to maintain it going forward.. Even though they say you can use Megs products like normL, 1 would kinda think not to mess with it and maybe plain water + gentle microfiber towel wipe would be the best way to go?
But I couldn't deal with that. I'm the type that likes to apply D180 once a week because I like the look & smell it gives. With the Leather Sealer it's like watching paint dry, nothing to see, boring. Lol.
Not to mention you're not even really sure if it's still on there or not.. Based on the posts in this thread, I don't see any sure shot indicators on whether it's still protecting or not. Everyone just guesses every 2 months or so should be a good time to re apply... I could never deal with guessing on protection + not getting any visual appeal out of the deal. Same way I don't guess whether my sealant is still on my paint, that's where beading helps. But until you drop a jar of Prego on the seat and prove it's actually still protecting then it's anyones guess..
Just my 2 cents.
