Review: Opti-Seal

looks like P21S and Zaino still rule the small tight beads ... nice overall, and will take advice and use less.

You're right there. I'm just not a fan of tight beading. I like the sheeting effect. Less chances of water spots since beads are like mineral whores (LOL!).

It really doesn't take much at all. I don't even think I needed the priming sprays. Your car should get 4-5 spritzes.......maybe more with that long hood!

LOL was just about to order JUST opti-seal (free foam applicators!!! I need a few extra) until I saw how much it wanted me to pay to ship it :O 20.99....thats almost the cost of opti-seal. heh.

Guess I'll have to wait :(
Disadvantage of living in the Great White North!

I was going to ask where you freak'n lived but you added it!

What kind of products can you up there in the stores?

There are a few stores that carry Optimum I guess. eshine.ca is affiliated with autogeek I think....i dunno. However they dont have opti seal yet.

No one offers as good as a deal that AG is offering now (for me anyways cause I really need those foam pads...dont want to go bother buying some new ones from the store).

I also rather support AG than another store. Ive learned a lot here. Might as well be member for life at this point even tho Im still new!

We'll see what happens, maybe a friend of mine will place a large AG order and can toss the OS in there for me.

There is no way that it costs 21 bucks to ship that bottle. I think its just the webstore's standard rate....
Also, local stores here don't carry anything decent. Detailing is not that large in my town/city ....yet....
We can get some meguiar's products, however nothing too good. nxt tech wax at best maybe? and one or two gold class products.

Justin looks good but, one question where is your antenna? Mike...

Hi there Justin, great shine & beading. Hehehe. :p Anyone tried using a foam paint roller to apply the Opti Seal before....? Or maybe a paint brush...? Don't know if it'll work.? Hehehe..... :D

I simply hated the way it looked. I'm putting Sirius in soon and I'm going to remove the rest of the antenna. The hole will be filled for a clean look.

Very nice pics of beading!! I love the picture of that side-mirror housing! It looks so.....so...... I don't know what word to use? Dark, smooth, uniform look, no streaking, beads. That was OS on the mirror housing too, right Justin? Did OS darken the color of it?

IT DID GIVE MY SILVER MET A SOFTER GLOW........LIKE SOVERAN HAS DONE....:)

You will love the satelite radio and won't miss local radio, I know I don't. Also Sirius and XM are merging, so hopefully that means even more stations. Mike...

.

Autogeek Manufactures Wolfgang and Pinnacle so we buy direct. AG is also a Master distributor for some products like Optimum. We have a very good business relationship but are two completely seperate companies.
