I'll cut a block lengthwise ~ 2 cuts/3 pieces for stacks and front end. The last thing I want to put scratches in is an 8" straight stack.
Others are cut like a stick of butter and changed out frequently, or dropped in the soap bucket and flushed out manually.
Back on topic. My quote left little profit as the owner is practically giving the car away at his asking price. Hard to get prospects off the fence in this demographic...and I tried to cut processes to reflect time spent and outcome expected. Can't please everybody.
The SS trim is not the issue, but the chrome and plating on the bumpers and grill. I don't have an upclose of the grill.
