I gave up and completely stopped using the G15 because it was stalling way to easy on even the slightest curve.

My standard protocol for all tools like this that have a rubber shroud that makes contact with the back of the backing plate is to apply some grease to the backing plate.


It does seem to help a lot with the stalling issues all tools like this have.

Just to point out....


Look at the number of pads I went through using a one-step cleaner/wax or technically a jeweling wax.
