I have some of the first sets ever made and they are still going strong, BTW who pen the name of " Wheel Woolies " ?

Has anyone added some grippy material to the handle to the wheel woolies to enhance the ability to hold firmly? The wheel woolie has a smooth handle and can be a little slippery when wet like when using APC's or soaps as they usually are slippery by their nature.

Hmmmm, hadn't thought about that. It'd take some serious grippy tape or something.
I used my new ones tonight, can't imagine how I managed to go so long without them! Wondering if anyone has tried heating the handle a little and putting a bend to it? It'd work a LOT better that way, (and why they have the new ones of course). Just that I'm too cheap to buy the new ones I guess, (when the 3-pack is so much of a better deal).

is the Small and Big wheel woolie the same size in the wool material wise? Just 1 is shorter handle?
Or is the shorter handle have a smaller wool head?

No they are all different sizes. The small one is (roughly) 1 x 3½, medium 1½ x 3½, large 4 x 6. Hope that helps.

I remember you saying this on AF and I used them with the foam tape and that helped with the grip.
