Review: Wolfgang Microfiber Cleaner and Rejuvenator

That's a long soak! Why so long? Just curious to hear others methods! :dblthumb2:

Just habit I guess, there is no real logic behind it, lol. I usually throw them in the bucket at the end of a detail or when I'm out of towels, and come back a day or two later and rinse and throw them into the washer.

Hmm... this seems interesting...our HE machine broke from trying to save money and use non HE detergent every so often...so I was wary to use mf cleaners...I like the fact that this is formulated for HE machines! I've been using scentless HE detergents also for both my polishing pads and MF towels... I should probably step up my game lol. I'm wondering if the pad cleaner and extender would work for MF's...for the most part, the same dirt that is instilled into pads from paint is also instilled into MF towels... wonder if the MF's soaked in pad cleaner/rejuvinator then washed in machine w/ scentless would have the same results as this? or maybe that's just overcomplicating things.

Seems you could just buy microfiber cleaner and not have to do all that.

I think you're right! I just like trying to economize so I was thinking I could buy one product instead and have more $ to spend on new fun things like Black Label sealant and such...but it seems I'll just have to get it all... :xyxthumbs:

Microfiber detergents make good pad cleaners actually. At least chemical guys brand detergent does. :xyxthumbs:

I recently used this product again over the weekend to wash a load of towels and again, it impressed. I still don't see it released but if the gallon price is decent, I'll be purchasing.

I just bought BF gallon, but glad to hear they are somewhat even.

Nice review.

Ever tried DP? If so, how does it compare?

I just have a regular washing machine (not HE) and use liquid Tide along with a Groit's Garage micro-fiber additive(?)

Good review, havent tried this yet. I have used MicroRestore, Adams and BF MF cleaner and for my money, I still prefer MicroRestore. It rinses the cleanest and is priced right (in my experience). I will finish up my BOGO BF cleaner and be going back to MicroRestore unless something else proves to be better.

Thanks for the write up what is the difference between that and regular soap? How can I test products out ;)

Liquid tide might have fabric softeners or light bleach, you may be ruining your towels....

Yep, I used it and compared against DP. Definitely much better, luckily I shot gallon for this instead of DP.

Good choice!

I liked microrestore, but found it required a lot sometimes to clean loads of towels. But as they say, what ever works best for you is what is right! thats why detailing is fun, we all have our own things.:dblthumb2:

You can find that info out on the product page:
Wolfgang Microfiber Cleaner and Rejuvenator breaks up and releases compound, polish, and wax residue, leaving your microfiber towels looking and feeling new after every wash. Unlike household detergents that contain dyes, perfumes, and fabric softeners, Wolfgang Microfiber Cleaner and Rejuvenator is a pure detergent that rinses completely clean, without foaming up or leaving unwanted residue in the towels. Your microfiber towels will be left in the purest form after every wash, exactly how they should be!

Looks like it is available now!

Nice review. I will definitely buy it when I run low. I still have a full bottle of Pinnacle.

Pick up a bottle while it's on sale people: Wolfgang Microfiber Cleaner and Rejuvenator.

Good prices on all 3 sizes. If you do a lot of loads the gallon works out to be around $0.31 per ounce, and if you use an average of 1 ounce per load you're getting over 120 loads in a bottle. That's a lot of washing.

Did you run your washer as a hot/cold cycle? Or just cold? I've never washed mine in hot water but have heard that it works better at cleaning.

I dont recall this particular load, but usually it is hot/cold cycle 99.9% of the time.
