Yes.
I’m beginning to wonder if WG Paint Prep that I own is doing it’s job. I drench and heavy wipe, then I come back with a light spray and wipe and still seem to have issues with some applications. It doesn’t mean it’s the paint prep’s fault, but it’s at least in the back of my head now.Tried this over the weekend.
Polished with Meguiars 205, twice.
Went over it with the WG Paint Prep
Applied the spray coating.
My thoughts are I was using WGPS 3.0 and find that this gives a better shine. I didn't notice any difference with the Spray Coating whatsoever, actually totally disappointed.
I was looking forward to looking at moving over to coating lite products.
Tried Mother's last year and in comparison shine wise was far superior.
Car - Nissan Fuga GT Black
If anyone can tell me what I did wrong please let me know.

Your process looks sound. Did you allow product to flash (rainbow effect)? Did you use enough product (2-3 sprays per 2x2 section?
If so maybe just not glossy enough for you? Product is new and not a ton of reviews.
I like to have the latest and greatest.... but sometimes having something tested and true is all you need.

BTW, DGPS is about as shiny and sparkly as any product I’ve ever used. It’s hard for things to be much better than it.
Sounds like you did everything right to me.

But your above process sounds sound.

Ok thought ceramic was suppose to out do anything else as far as gloss/glassy? Thought it would be better than Mother's.
You are right re: newest and greatest, and I also bought x 2 packs (coating, prep, micro fibre towels). Thought being Wolfgang should be good. Currently using all Wolfgang.
Have another car to do so will see how it goes.
Thanks for your reply
It does and some other reviews say it’s glossy. I think Acura’s on to something because he didn’t get stellar performance either. Something up with paint prep.
Also it’s not like Gyeon Cancoat where you can spray on wipe off. It needs time to flash

Wolfgang don't seem to think there is any problems, so wondering maybe I could do the following.
Prep the paint with the Perfekt Paint Prep then lay down another coat?
Car has been sitting in the carport for 5 days now, hasn't been outside at all since then.
Not sure I have IPA, went away from that wanting to use prep products.
Going back to work tomorrow but will try on the weekend.
Will IPA do anything to the coating?
What about Wolfgang Paint Enhancer, or 3M polish?
Quite surprised at Andre reply.
IPA might weaken the already applied CSC. If you polish first, IPA will prep the surface to be squeaky clean... just an alternative to WG Prep Spray if you wanted.
WG Paintwork Enhancer will weaken/degrade CSC and won’t leave a clean surface, so no point.
3M Polish should remove CSC and won’t leave a clean surface, so no point unless you want to remove, re-prep with prep spray and then re-apply CSC.
Ok will look for, think I might have something like Prepsol?
I *think* prepsol would work similar to IPA. To clean the surface from oils. I don’t think it’s going to remove existing CSC.
That's my impression of it too. It's what I used before I sprayed to clean grease etc off.
I stopped using it because I saw somewhere how it can soften certain paints so I went over to the paint prep products.
