Review: Wolfgang Uber Compound

I worked on my mustang last night with my 3401 & LC Hydro Cyan pads with Uber and WOW! Definitely alot easier than M105 and practically no dusting. I did have some but I'm still a newb. I must not be putting enough product because I only seem to get 4-5 passes.

Make sure to prime your pad with the Über , after that 3 dime size drops.
I'm able to work it as long as I see fit.
Long work time, work it until it becomes clear then buff off:dblthumb2:

I primed the pad then 3 dots like Mike always does in his videos. Maybe I need to prime the pads some more. Either way, I love this Uber, say goodbye to M105, at least on my car!

Is it drying on you?
I ask because I can make 5-6 passes, I tried just to see how long the work time is.
While I was spreading it I noticed if you make another pass on speed three it spreads that much better giving you an even coat to work with, I had lights on it and could see.

Same here, goodbye 105:(

105 won't finish down like this.

got the chance to try out the Uber compound today on a small area of the car which had a scratch and worked it as advertized. one thing i noticed is the consistency. It seems a bit thicker than both Megs and Menzerna compounds. It's too thick i can't shake the contents in the gallon. is this normal for the Uber compound?

yes its thick.
I have a quart and same, hard to shake up .
Didn't see a problem though .

Mine is not any thicker than other compounds I have. Different batch maybe?

Sent from my DROID RAZR using AG Online

It's thick but spreads like butter which makes it very easy to use.
IMO its the best compound. PERIOD!
Give it a try and I think you'll agree with everyone that loves it.

Love the uber, doing my buddy's mustang saturday morning! Hope to have better luck this time now that I know how it works. I was doing sections 2.5x2.5 gonna shorten to 2x2. Do you think temp in the 50s have an effect on be able to do less passes?

You shouldn't have any problems working in colder temps.
I started early in the morning, was like 45 degrees but worked great.

When I use the 105 I have issues when the temp was like 55 down.
Work smaller areas, speed four with slow arm movement.
Make sure to work it until it becomes clear , that's when it's best to remove it.
You're good to go:dblthumb2:

I think I didn't wait long enough, nightmares with 105 haha! I'll try what you said. what pad are you using? i'm using lc hydro cyan

I'm using an orange CG'S hex pad.
Zero issues.
In fact it's to a point that I don't have to go to a second step, stuff is amazing:dblthumb2:
It's important to work it well so that it makes it easy to wipe off.
Good luck:dblthumb2:

Thanks for the review Mike:dblthumb2: I'll probably pick up a 8 oz bottle to try out but this compound is $$ compared to 105
