Richy's Thinking Outside the Box

I've got a black Kohler toilet. Power assisted. I have to plug in my toilet:) I inherited the toilet with the house. Kids are afraid of Darth Toilet. The seat is swirl city. Paper towel doesn't help the swirls.

Stop it! You're killin me! I thought this was too radical... until I noticed the swirls on my seat. I guess the first step is to change the moisturizer in our shower gel (eliminate scratchy hiney).
I noticed the short duration of auto products. I guess ammonia, bleach, vinegar or other cleaning product is the secret to removing coatings.

The middle of winter is the slowest for me, and I get anxious to get the Porter Cable out of hibernation. Usually the gf has some task for me to do. Usually the shower.

Ummmm............ Then wouldn't you have to cover it, and use the "6" speed setting??:pc7424:

Lol

This thread relates perfectly to a question I was going to post about polishing the ceramic cooktop on a smooth top electric range. We have a Stainless Steel KitchenAid with a polished black top and it has a bunch of fine scratches in it. Our previous one had some white flakes in it so it didn't show scratches, but this one has a smooth high gloss finish and the scratches really show. What products do you guys think would be best to try polishing the cooktop? Would a polish intended for glass be best or do you think I can use a regular paint product?

Some cooktops scratch really easy. I wouldn't use anything but the polish made for them.

You're trying to polish glass which is not easy. If it were mine, I would try something like M105 and a wool pad and if that didn't do it, I'd live with it. I had a deep scratch in my last one that I hated but lived with.

Most of the scratches aren't very deep, but they really show on the polished black. I'll try some different combinations and see what happens. Thanks.
