Rinseless Washes - 2022

All this RW talk made me get out there after work and do an Ech2o RW on the EN (5 days dirty, pic to prove it here) The gloss is incredible as was the cleaning ability!

Once done I used the leftover Ech2o solution, as well as an addition of 1.5 oz of Absolute RW and more water (up to 4 gallons) to RW my g/f's Cruze. The rinse bucket was equally dirty when we were done, yes, I said WE, got her butt out there to help

So relaxing washing a car

Just wanted to add back onto my post, I did a maintenance wash to day with the good old ONR (Still have my 32oz to go through) and frankly, hard to discern difference in slickness after all. My car just has CarPro Elixir on it as the protection. I guess both products are good and maybe the DIY detail has a bit more cleaning power from what I read. DIY detail is also cheaper in gallon form.

I'm curious if anyone else has tried DIY rinseless compared to ONR and what they have to say about it? I do appreciate how more colorful the solution is with ONR even though it's not really an important point lol.

DIY > ONR

I watched a few videos of guys that foam up rinseless i was like "why?" lol

With Ammo Frothe (my favorite rinseless/waterless) provides way more lubricity.

Once you get foaming down to keep overspray down it’s pretty simple.

Might as well try Ech2o again now that I have a sponge. What is your dilution for it?

Also to clarify, you do a 2 bucket rinse less with like a traditional rinse bucket? I thought about that to might be a good idea.

Yes, I use the 2BM for sure. For Ech2o I do 2 oz to 4 gallons as I always pre-treat. You can see the polymers when cleaning your car using Ech2o and then feel then once dried

It's great on rubber/plastics too. I tried it on my rubber floor mats and they came out great with it. I really like Ech20.

I've tried a lot of them and funny enough was just looking to see what's new. What I can replace my current ones with and nothing seems worth it.

I will exclusively due touchless car washes, but otherwise I have been using 2 via rinseless car wash. Mckees N914 for when I want nothing left over and Ech2o. I LOVE the gloss left behind from Ech2o.

If my car is very dirty and salty, I use a solution with pump sprayer and saturate the panel. Depending how dirty the car is I'll do 2 buckets or when salty I use 10 or so towels.

I don't have access to a hose and the rinseless has served me well for years. When it's too dirty or I have no time I run it through the brushless touchless to wash the underside and get all the gunk off.

I ordered DIY Rinseless. I been fighting against as bit of fan of rebranded products from big chemical companies. Phoenix E.O.D. Similar types of company just never excited me.

This one I feel the same but peeps like Ivan and Steven from Hawks. Figured their popularity is driving it.

But I trust the reviews here so found it with free shipping so jumping in.

Also not a fan of every other Rinsless manufacturer giving you 32oz when DIY gives you 16oz.

Some one then pointed out I buy PA products . The are different company as PA makes there own products but still a great expensive product is still a great expensive product.

Yeah it technically wasn’t started by the two. A blender came to Yvan about promoting a brand and receive partial ownership. He wasn’t interested at first and recommend they Steven for the partnership.

They liked Steven but still wanted Ivan on board and they decided to team up.

Don’t know how it was divvied up but the two are only partial owners with the big blender an owner as well.

I’m sure they have input from the product but like Apex, DPC and many others their product comes from a big blender. Just a guess but I’m thinking Mckee’s…

I'd like to think Ivan had input on the product as he said it's something he's been working on for a while with his years of experience in the business

I watched their video about the Ceramic coating announcement and commented about the need for a good, pre-wash to keep those pores clean and maybe benchmark Bilt-Hamber Touchless or Auto-foam and they said "we're benchmarking a far better product than Bilt-Hamber", I asked what it was and heard nothing back...I guess it's their version of stay "tuned"

Lol what’s better than BH twins…. I feel like whoever was typing just spoke out the side of their necks. Not to say their not going to make an amazing product but I doubt Ivan’s ever used the two.

And yes in the video I saw Ivan saw all that he did say he has input but how much, who really knows.

Is Yvan got a chemistry degree? I ask just wanting to know his background. Before DIY rinseless he was either revered or called a quack. I haven’t seen him using his rinseless with a brush yet….

Wasn’t a Yvan before he got with DIY and not going to become one just cuz he’s got a line of products.

Funny a lot of people jumped on most YouTubers when the started repping their own products (DPC, Apex) but gave Yvan and Steven a pass.

Don't usually see college for that many years....

Yeah it seems a lot of people give more credit than other influencers but if I understand correct he was a detailer before Optimum.

Him coming from their and putting his name behind a product holds some sway as I believe he was at the for front when ONR became popular. He didn’t create it. Just showed us how to use it?

I enjoy some of his video’s and like some of his ideas tho…

I was "corrected" about that brush used in Apex's video, I believe he sells it on his site. That's said, I'm not using it on my car
