So tried DIY today. So far not a fan but I’m hoping it was foaming it as a pretreat.
Foam quality was good but didn’t have that super slick feeling of Frothe.
Adam’s foaming waterless was a lot better too but not Frothe level.
To be expected as those are waterless meant to be foamed and DIY is a rinsless that can be foamed.
Dirt was left behind on vehicle but didn’t look suspended like in ONR and Absolute. Looked like dirty water. Again think that was due to foam.
Due to fact it foams up well I think this is more surfactant based than polymer.
Feels a lot like 914 to me which is good because I like 914 a lot.
My feelings are so far that Surfactant base fair better in Gary Dean method and I like polymer based with the sponges. Just my preference so far.
Water before and after
I’m did do a panel ray with no pretreat and felt slickness wise like ONR or 914.
Next week I’ll try head to head with ONR or Absolute.
DiY wiped of easy as any.
