Rinseless Washes - 2022

I note that Bowden's Own have just launched a rinse-less wash concentrate called Dry Spell. It appears to be surfactant based and

Australians are not really into waterless/rinse-less washing like you guys in the US are, so I think this product could be one of their slower sellers. The lurid pink coloring might not be accepted by the macho blokes either. On the other hand, Bowden's have a strong marketing team, so this could be the product that introduces more to rinse-less in this country.
I assume your getting it The color shouldn't matter, I mean we're all using fruity smelling products too and I'm good with that

Griot's Garage has the most colorful products on the market, the color has never crossed my mind ad being an issue

I'm really digging the gold sponge. It releases dirt so easily, it's actually fun haha

Yeah I get same from BRS. The one thing I don’t like about UBS is the color. Also weird but I think I’m the only one who’s BRS feels softer than UBS.

Will order the gold one when I make an AutoForge order.

Funny but ever since I got it I’ve been reaching for ONR the most……

Maybe because I tried ONR early on and didn't know better but once I tried DG RW & WGU (yes, I'm an OG) I never looked back

I wonder if Coatings has the newest version of ONR? I tried it (what I think is 2nd gen), and it just never sang to me as a Rinseless. Part of me also wonders if LSP plays a big factor in it as well.

I never have tried the Duragloss, might have to sometime just for kicks.

Don’t you know P&S Absolute and DIY Detail Rinseless are the new hotness? You’re not doing it right. :)

I have absolute. Great product. Love the slickness. Nothing I have except Pure leaves water as clean.

I refuse to buy 16oz of product from DIY that I get 32oz from everyone else.

I may get a gallon when I run low on something

I ordered a bottle yesterday, should be here next week.

As for the color, Australian's are more conservative than you may think, especially in regional areas.

It would also be $9 shipping for me for that 16 oz bottle. That's a pass.

Shine Supply's RW is supposedly good too. Eco Shine.

I don't do RW often, but I use them a lot as QD/Interior products.

RW's are the Swiss Army Knife of detailing products.

I haven't used one yet that I didn't like. They all work but have different characteristics you have to adjust and account for.

From a conservative that thinking is beyond ridiculous

I have no reference but the gold sponge is very soft to me. It's one of my favorite products for the last 12 mths or so. My cordless polisher would be my favorite. But i don't buy so many chemicals as I did a few years ago.

I just tried the DIY rinseless as part of my 15 rinseless wash test and writeup I've been working on.

Not much to look at or smell, but I was pleasantly suprised.

Yeah that $9 shipping from DIY stopped me in my tracks. Can’t overpay for product and shipping…

Spend $50 for free shipping, easy to do that there

What do you mean exactly when you say "not much to look at" As far as the smell goes maybe your nose is stuffed up

It's watery, not much body to it in the bottle.
When you mix it up, it just looks like.... water.
The smell is like windex + apple (?), but very mild, which salvages it.

But!
Put your hands into it when mixed up, and use it, it feels very slippery and feels meaningful.
Good user experience overall, just didn't expect much out of it, looking at the contents in the bottle.
Can't judge a book by its cover

That's a spot on review Craig! While I don't have as many products as you have I couldn't pic 1 product right now for my sole TW/WW right now

What do you think of Griot's Garage Brillant Shine rinseless wash

There’s not much ch I’d want to try. Ceramic gloss, incredible suds and there interior products look nice.

Thing is I jus ordered Gold Zirkon, Kamikaze Overcoat and bead hero. Plus I got Nova Lustre and Jet still not opened. Don’t need another topper.

Got full bottle of Gyeon LeatherCoat, Preserve, half bottle of PBL L&V coating, 303 and just ordered a bottle of Dash pro.

And for soaps I have 32oz of Reset and a gallon of Tacs System Mystic bubble. BH twins and Griots Surface Wash for presoaks.

It’s weird but I’ll go ham on LSP’s and Rinseless’s but other products I kinda just use what I have. Not counting Perl this is the first time I’ve had 2 products in tire rotation.

So far my favorite with 3-4 weeks durability is 2 sprays Tac System Tire Coat and one spray of Perl per tire.

Better than the TW Graphene. Added DarkSide to the mix.
