^^^^ This product is $100.00 per gallon. Better be leaps and bounds above 90% of other rinseless washes which I have my doubts about. Why would anyone buy this when many other products that are most likely just as good can be has for 40% less $$.

Rinseless washes Are coming out of the woodwork. Becoming a very saturated market for something 95% of the population doesn't even know exists.

Well...if you look at the name on the bottle, you can just up your bet on a 60-130 mph race on 355 between 55 & 80 to cover the cost

Has anyone tried this?

Klasse,
Because you already have the world's largest collection of rinseless washes what's one more. Besides this will give you an even 10.
She said in the video it may be better than Hero. Definately in her top five.

As a marketing strategy for an unknown brand such as Nighthawk maybe they should offer an 8 oz size for just the cost of shipping. If it is as good as it was presented in the video regular folks would be back to purchase larger quantities. At 896:1 an 8 oz bottle would give one several washes.
I watched the video....half oz to 3.5 gallons, I'm sorry, I just can't trust that ratio, even though she did it

Speaking of that, once again another YouTuber doing a RW in a single bucket AND no grit guard even️My buddy has a YouTube channel and we did a RW video but maybe we can do another one that's more particular about the DO's and DONT'S, it drives me nutz watching vids where the utmost safety isn't used and/or considered

You could possibly do a modified wash. It would be a pain but doable. Foam with a presoak of your choice, then back car out to the driveway, rinse off with the hose, then before it has a chance to freeze pull car back in garage.

However it would be less hassle to just do the two bucket rinseless. There are some good rinseless washes that are cheap enough to make a two bucket wash reasonable. In addition because you are eliminating the vast majority of the dirt in the rinse bucket you could save the rinseless in the wash bucket for the next wash and just rotate that bucket to be the rinse bucket. Thereby being even more economical.
Your first suggestion would result in an epic ice sheet in the driveway, which I won't intentionally cause

My best recourse is to get back on my $50 a month unlimited wash plan at the touchless car wash and when conditions are cold and dry, bring the car immediately home, let it warm up, and hit it with a good rinseless wash

That was last winter's program and in my world my best choice

If I had been able to have a floor drain when the house was built it would be a totally different story but local code says the floor drain would have to be hooked up to my septic system and because our septic systems up here work at about 50% efficiency due to ground temps, the hit it would have taken chemically would have seriously compromised it's ability to do it's job

I did a lot of local research when presented with this information by the builder and the info was solid as best I could determine

So I do what I can and limit the amount of water that I have to force to evaporate on the garage floor by keeping the garage at 65 and being frugal with my washing

There have been RW videos for 20 years that I believe intentionally employ worst practices in an effort to show/convince people of how safe a rinseless wash can be, how well the chemicals cause the media to release the grime, how lubricious the wash is, etc

Maybe if they followed up the demonstration with a "best practices" segment it would have been better in the long run

This is a brilliant point

I am sure the blenders are just loving this trend

They must have 2 base formulas, a polymer and a surfactant base, that they simply toss a different color and a different scent into, bottle it and label it, and laugh all the way to the bank

And every new brand you have never heard of brings out another UToob "expert" you have never heard of

It gets old

I would hate to be a newbie to detailing and have to wade through all the garbage to try and make decisions on what to buy

Probably why I am usually a few years behind the times

Just poop at a friend's house until Spring

Jack Black serves the dark lord.

I own this one but bought back in Spring - my bottle looks very different. It was also named Triple S Rinseless at the time - dilution is still the same. I admit, I get uneasy at the usual 256:1 and typically overdo it when it comes to rinseless ratios knowing I'll be inside and can quickly dry it off.

Monday I was sitting around and decided to mix-up this Nighthawk rinseless as a presoak. Since it is "mildly acidic" and there's all the new 3ph rinseless systems, I figure this should serve a similar purpose. On a fairly dirty car (after snowstorm driving), the process went over well. I used Nighthawk rinseless as a presoak, went over with ADS Hero and finished with Nighthawk Ceramic Spray.

I was very impressed with Nighthawk Ceramic Spray. This one actually says it can be used as a tire shine too - will have to try it out. Another one of their products claims to clean and shine as a dressing (Citrus Clean and Shine). Definitely some interesting products at Nighthawk but now I'm curious if the CTX rinseless is any different than Triple S. I'll shoot them a note. So far, I think the brand is interesting and they need to do more to get on the radar.

Tire shine AND paint AND 856:1

So the update from Nighthawk:

Triple S (old) had no SiO2 - CTX (new) has SiO2 - as with all RWs lately...slickness, slickness, slickness
