Rinseless Washes - 2022

I own this one but bought back in Spring - my bottle looks very different. It was also named Triple S Rinseless at the time - dilution is still the same. I admit, I get uneasy at the usual 256:1 and typically overdo it when it comes to rinseless ratios knowing I'll be inside and can quickly dry it off.

Monday I was sitting around and decided to mix-up this Nighthawk rinseless as a presoak. Since it is "mildly acidic" and there's all the new 3ph rinseless systems, I figure this should serve a similar purpose. On a fairly dirty car (after snowstorm driving), the process went over well. I used Nighthawk rinseless as a presoak, went over with ADS Hero and finished with Nighthawk Ceramic Spray.

I was very impressed with Nighthawk Ceramic Spray. This one actually says it can be used as a tire shine too - will have to try it out. Another one of their products claims to clean and shine as a dressing (Citrus Clean and Shine). Definitely some interesting products at Nighthawk but now I'm curious if the CTX rinseless is any different than Triple S. I'll shoot them a note. So far, I think the brand is interesting and they need to do more to get on the radar.
They seem to be popular on social media platforms. If you want to try another rinseless wash that is mildy acidic then koch chemie rapid rinseless fits that category. Ph of 5.5 if I remember correctly.

I actually used that one about a week ago after letting it sit unused for so long. As I'm accumulating them, I'm finding what we all really know to be true... there's minimal difference between.

I will say that the Ethos RW sponge has impressed me with both the Ethos RW and with ADS Hero. I'm not expert enough to say it's a winner but it's working very well for me compared to most others I've tried (Legacy, TRC USS, etc)

This could be used to do a rimseless wash, in a pinch or while on a road trip...thoughts

Yes there really isn't a "best" out there. Only what is best for your particular situation.

I've been in the market for a rinseless sponge for a while but have been hesitant to pull the trigger on one. I'll look into the Ethos sponge. I think I saw somewhere that ADS was going to release a rinseless sponge as well? Anyone know about it?

THIS might be cool for RW's on the road or in a pinch, thoughts?

ADS does have one coming...and it's in their signature green, for that reason alone I'm buying it

A company cause Fantik has made those for a while. But they run off of a battery.

Cars with Keav spotlighted it. He recently did one on a Sun joe version I’ve been flirting with.

If looking to try Mckee’s N37 V2 and sponge Mckee’s has a combo pack for $29.99. I found a free ship code too.

32oz of RW with a top rated sponge is deals!

These weren’t coming off with any rinsless pretreat I tried (DIY details v1, absolute, KC RRW)

Forgot about Preludio twins. Preludio Acidic soften them right up. All gone. Pretty sure it was tar and there for awhile. Also melted a bird poo DIY wouldn’t touch.

Other spots I had found after wash had a film the rinseless and pretreat didn’t get. Could feel it but was like a film… sorry no pick but Preludio Alkaline took care no problem.

More I use them more I love them. Rinseless anywhere with bad winter condition I would say these are a must have. Maybe my 2024 rinseless product of year…. It removed tar….Rinselessly…

Seems like the preludio twins are a solid pre treat option for any situation whether you are following up with a rinseless wash or a traditional wash. I don't really bust out the pressure washer/foam cannon unless the car is filthy so just spot treating with preludio then proceeding to do a traditional wash would fit into my regimen perfectly.

Thanks! I've found some spots like this after the RW and assumed I just needed to wait until the next full detail day. Good to know those twins are bringing some additional value!

Here you are. Stolen from a video on FB. Not sure if there's a way to see it externally. It looks similar in shape to the TRC USS sponge but that's not the style of ADS (to simply rebrand). I'm guessing it'll pair very well with Hero through extensive testing or it'll be released and a new Hero V2 will be as well.

I'll try to post if I hear any update about a release date.

Yup spot treat, let dwell pretreat with rinsless then wash.

Do you use the twins together or is it one or the other? I think I recall they suggest blue, rw, green if needed and finish with rw but I want to be quicker than that if possible. I've only used blue and then the rw. My green sits unused thus far.

What dilution are you using them at? When they first came out I was interested but the dilution rate made them look very uneconomical. I decided if I ever tried them I would start way more diluted than they recommend.

Also, what happened to the Preludio bundle of the two products? Now it looks like they only have a bundle which includes Idrosave (which I already have) or individually, and they are out of stock on the acidic. They do have both of them in stock at House of Rags, LOL.

Because these are acidic or alkaline, I started with what was recommended to be safe. I haven't experimented much in that respect.

Did you try Autoality? Once Labocosmetica picked up some social media hype they started getting picked up by more outlets. I think Parks Car Care also carries the brand.

You really don't think all those sponges are coming from the same factory??
No. I think there's thousands of little foam trolls out there in the most remote regions of the world growing and perfecting foam to the extent they will someday soon have the best sponge foam possible. Probably study their whole lives and it's a family tradition.

In other words, I have no clue
