Rinseless Washes - 2022

No. I think there's thousands of little foam trolls out there in the most remote regions of the world growing and perfecting foam to the extent they will someday soon have the best sponge foam possible. Probably study their whole lives and it's a family tradition.

In other words, I have no clue

Do you use the twins together or is it one or the other? I think I recall they suggest blue, rw, green if needed and finish with rw but I want to be quicker than that if possible. I've only used blue and then the rw. My green sits unused thus far.

I hit Rockers and lower with acidic. Tar and other spots treated with alkaline if alkaline doesn’t get it then acidic.

I’m not treating whole car with either

Because these are acidic or alkaline, I started with what was recommended to be safe. I haven't experimented much in that respect.

Did you try Autoality? Once Labocosmetica picked up some social media hype they started getting picked up by more outlets. I think Parks Car Care also carries the brand.

I believe. Cleaned garage too.

I'm suprised no one has seen how some of these rinseless washes are using rinse off surfactants. Like this one. BOth DIY and the house of rags rinseless uses this chemical.

Sodium lauryl ether sulfate is an anionic surfactant. Its excellent detergency makes it one of the key components of rinse-off products, as a primary surfactant. In addition to cleansing power, SLES is distinguished by excellent emulsification and foaming abilities, and compatibility with the majority of surfactants (all except cationic).

Mike G just deleted a comment i made on his youtube channel on his review of Nemisis from the housse of rags. The jig is up some of these rinsless products are not rinseless at all. Just "trust" the chemistry has mike used to say.

What did you say exactly about the product, I'm curious because I have a "suspicion" about something...that's all I'll say about it

Like here i just mentioned the SDS sheet with Sodium laureth sulfate as an ingredient nothing nasty.

For the benefit of doubt maybe chemists think Sodium laureth sulfate is fine left on the paint. But to claim nothing is left behind is a lie.

I'm looking at the french guy with the cheesy mustache.

What could possibly be wrong with posting facts about what's inside a bottle of RW

My suspicions are growing stronger, let's just say I think I made the right move unsubscribing to a certain channel I felt odd when doing it to Pan but my suspicions proved to be 100% correct there, I have the same feelings here as well

Hab the Agitator? Are you refering to the Pan guy? Another shady frenchman. With a lot of show but no go.

I recently tried DetailCo Nemesis. It seems to work well for the money,
Here is my experience:

When you say "for the money" what does it cost compared to other RW's

The 16oz bottle is $10:00. Of course plus shipping.
Wonder if that is an introductory price just to get people to try it. Seeing as how there are a multitude of rinseless products on the market that is a good move.

Sodium lauryl ether sulfate is also on this SDS.

I've been looking at idrosaves i can't see any of these SLES surfactants...but i'm not sure.

I used Idrosave yesterday, its good stuff. Very stout protection. I was thinking about using DIY but i don't look at it the same and i have about 1/2 gallon left lol

I also sprayed preludio alkaline on the lower panels for the first time. It worked great. Amazing smell and IMO rinseless products have limitations.

I watched this which led me to his review of Hero and I was amused to see his results with Hero, at THEIR recommended dilution ratios, on a moderately dirty car echoed what I have experienced

He felt that 256:1 was not sufficient to safely get the dirt off the car or as a prespray, among his other findings

YMMV

I should be more concerned about the scratch tests but that's why i polish :). What as peaked my interest is the SDS sheets and i don't think these products are so gentle has were led to believe - to our hands for instance. My hands are actually irritated today...start to wear gloves i guess...

Absolute really irritated my hands, so I 100% agree with you on that statement. Hero not as bad.

Nemesis is priced per oz lower than the other new Rinseless washes. Its priced similar to Absolute and ONR.
