Rinseless washing newbie questions

Great? Didn’t dwell well at all.

Need to dwell to break down. Plus I like to apply to dry panel to not dilute.

In actuality neither worked as well for her as results I and others have been getting.

The one she sprayed with a pump sprayer direct to dry panel dryed out pretty much in 3 min.Plus out of all my detailing arsenal, the IK foam pro 12 utilized with AutoFoam is one of my best investments.

Instead of all my other pump sprayers wish I would have just bought a 2nd one for Frothe.

There is a reason why it’s called AutoFoam. No need to try and improve this wheel. use it how it’s intended and it will be a permanent part of your arsenal.

ONR is a great starting point, I really like it, especially as an interior quick detailer.

I actually prefer the feel of a polymer-based rinse-less like ONR or Absolute over the surfactant-based McKees N-914.

I can definitely recommend P&S Absolute. Make sure to shake the bottle thoroughly before measuring out your dilutions and be sure to also stir the product into the water vigorously as it can have a tendency to settle on the surface of the water.









On it's own, Absolute is extremely slick and glossy. However just before drying, I like to add a few sprays of Bead Maker to each panel to ramp up the gloss and slickness.





I love this combo, Bead Maker and Absolute play so well together.

Just used it and didn’t find it a lot slicker than ONR. Do you feel like there is a big difference?

Edit: tried it on a clean panel and it felt pretty slick. Just gotta keep my car California dirty and I’ll be OK. Panel I cleaned prolly shouldn’t have been rinseless.

Try a foamer (IK when on sale) it is a much more substantial product.

After trying I would say Uber is slicker. Absolute feels more substantial.

Uber was my first rinseless after reviews here and Autopia. Just didn’t like it. Gave it away after several washes.

Yeah i look at them every once in a while, im being cheap when i see the price. Maybe next year. Would probly be nicer to have especially if i continue to do rinseless in the future as much as i did at the end of this season.

I mixed mine up with a gallon of distilled water. It seemed a little chunky when first pouring it in. After pouring it out of the jug, it did seem to leave a film behind in the jug. Definitely different than other RW.

Yes, Absolute is definitely on the more viscous side. It reminds me of Duragloss 932, which is also has a thick consistency. But to me this is not a problem. Absolute mixes easily and it gives me the feeling that there is definitely some product in there. Earlier this week, I tried Griots Garage Rinseless Wash, which feels "watered down" compared to Absolute. So far, I am loving Absolute. I just ordered a gallon of it after using up my initial 32 ounce bottle. I highly recommend Absolute.
