Heck yea, Dino Bravo and Earthquake! I almost put Earthquake on my list. That dude was comedy. I still remember his ring entrance in Wrestlemania 6. Loud arse rumbling music and the whole Skydome was dead silent in awe. Lmao.

Same era as me...what about road warriors, Ricky the dragon steamboat, Hart Bros, goerge the animal steel, hacksaw Jim duggen, killer bees, super fly Jimmy snuka,.... And how excited we're you when you saw the cage come down

I was biased towards Demolition, so I didn’t like the Road Warriors. Lol.

I got into wrestling after WM3, so I never really got to see Ricky the Dragon wrestle anyone, I just heard about how good he was... Then he came back as “The Dragon” but he was underwhelming.

I liked Jim the Anvil Nighthart, he was sweet. I liked Bret during the Hart Foundation days, but lost respect for him once they pushed him as more than Intercontinental Champion. I guess I was stuck to the old ways and didn’t buy into smaller guys contending for the Heavyweight Belt.

I never saw George the Animal Steel wrestle anyone in my time, just saw tape of him.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan gets respect for sure. I’ll never forget the promo he did where he manhandled a 60lbs. Chep pallet with his bare hands and twired it like a pillow over and over again. That’s still amazing. He was a big strong man you wouldn’t want to see mad. Lol.

Killer Bees were funny. As were the Conquistadors.

Jimmy Snuka? Emm, I wasn’t really too big on him. He never won any great matches besides that time when he made Don Muraco cough up blood. Lol

Cage come down? What cage? Undertaker vs. Mankind? Or?

Yea, the blue steel cage right? The one Hogan Fought Bundy in.

I remember Hogan had matches in that cage vs. the Twin Towers.

The very 1st time I watched wrestling live was the Saturday Nights Main Event where the Mega Powers broke up after Elizabeth got knocked out and Hogan carried her to the back with his lust for Elizabeth. Lol.

Somehow I was living under a rock up until that day when I saw the advertisement in the TV Guide and was like damn who are these dudes? They look freakin cool! I watched and was instantly hooked. Lol

From there I began watching lots of tape of the older stuff to catch me up.

Yeah man and then over in the nwa(back the then) the had chain link gave matches....man I wish I was ten again....can't watch it now

Yea I was hooked on renting every Coliseum video of past PPV’s every chance I could get. I remember they came in huge VHS cases made them seem like a big deal.

Very similar here.

My cousin got me into wrestling in the summer of 88 I want to say. I started off watching Wrestlemania 4, then 3.

Brutus "The Barber" was one of my favs.

Demolition was my fav tag team, and to this day AX (Bill Eadie) is my all time favorite wrestler.

My girl and I went to school with George "The Animal" Steele's Neice. When they were in elementary school he came to visit. Unfortunately I was at another elementary..

I hate little jobbers wearing heavyweight titles. Their fans are even worse.

When I was in high school my tennis team sponsored a rasslin’ match. The main event was Abdullah the Butcher vs Mr Wrestling #2. After the match we saw them in the local Huddle House eating so we stopped in dying of curiosity. It was heartbreaking to talk Abdulla the Butcher when he was out of character and actually spoke like a normal human being. Also Mr Wrestling #2 was about 5’9’’, I was taller than he was when I was in high school. Never meet your heroes.

My girl met Hulk Hogan a few times in more recent years when she was a flight attendant.

She said there is no way he is 6' 8, 303 lbs. She said our friend Greg at 6'3", 300 lbs was bigger.

Apparently Hulk is had so many back issues that he shrunk!

Ric Flair was/is the most incredible wrestler. I just watched a program (ESPN?) on him a few months ago.

The sacrifices he made to the sport, and unfortunately his family was eye opening to say the least.

I also used to like NWA. All the badass kids from my school were more into NWA.

What’s your favorite wrestling move. Sleeper or figure four leg lock? One guy had a heart punch that was supposed to be deadly. Or Freddie Blassie biting the forehead of an opponent? Dusty Rhodes elbow? Haystacks Calhoun Flop? Many to choose from.

Ted DiBiasi's "Million Dollar Dream".
Jake's DDT
Undertaker / Sid Vicious / Kane Chokeslam

I’m glad I’m not the only 1. IMO Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Rey Mysterio, even Chris Benoit and the absolute worst of all time CM Punk had no business ever even being in a Heavyweight title match let alone winning it. There’s been so many jabroni WWE Champions in recent years. The whole concept of the belt has been completely diminished.

Hogan was a big man back in the days, but remember when Sid Justice walked up and was way taller than Hogan face to face? They could’ve made that feud much better than it turned out. Typical WWE couldn’t quite put it all together.

And the thing that sucks is that Brock Lesnar is putting these guys over to a degree whenever they wrestle him, while he buries the bigger guys, like Reigns and Strowman.

The smark fans like to say the "times have changed", my response is that times have changed, but wrestling was never to be confused with acrobatics, or ballet.

CM Punk is terrible...

I didn't start paying attention again until I saw Reigns in 2014. He reminded me of Undertaker somehow.

I’m an early 80’s guy.... add the British bull dogs, Can Am connection, Koko b Ware, bam bam bigelow Diamond Dallas page, junk yard dog. Only wrestler to have a gi joe.... sgt slaughter, Tito Santana,Brutus the barber beefcake, rowdy roddy, ultimate warrior..... Jake the snake.... man y’all taking me back. Hulks slam of Andre the giant..... life changing. Also ultimate warrior can’t forget him
